Ep.6 Overwhelmed, Broken and Rebuilt part 2: Embracing the Soul’s Journey

A recorded monologue (YouTube podcast episode) by David Gimme discussing spiritual growth through the Kabbalistic framework of the "10 sefirot" (ten spiritual dimensions). He explains how souls receive divine light in stages, how personal crises function as tests and opportunities for transformation, uses analogies (JV→varsity) and the biblical example of Rachav to illustrate change, and closes with practical advice: decide your present vibration to reshape past and future.

Welcome back, everyone. This is episode six of the David Gimme podcast and speaking about the energy of the week, as well as a focusing on a continuation from our last episode, which we were talking about the phases of being overwhelmed, broken and rebuilt. And we explained that, we explained what's happening to the soul during this time. I actually wanted to go deeper into this process and explain that, you know, our soul, one frame of looking at it, is comprised of 10 spiritual dimensions. Kabbalahists call the 10 sfirot, 10 dimensions of light. And there's so many secrets to them. I'm definitely oversimplifying it to make it practical for us, but the way these 10 dimensions came about originally is that the light of the Creator could not shine in its full totality into the vessel, into the souls of humanity, because it would implode these souls if we received all of the lights, all the blessings that is due to our soul, that is meant for our soul, all at once, our soul would shatter because we have not earned this light yet. In more deeper terms, we have not transformed the desire to receive for the self alone into what's called the desire to receive for the sake of sharing, which is an energy, vibration and frequency that would have an affinity of form with the Creator. It's very, very deep wisdom here. I'm simplifying it for now. In future podcasts, I'm happy to dive in deeper and explain what that terminology means. But in practical terms, it really means I become like God. And the way I do that is to the transformation of my negativity, my. My doubts, my fears, my. My karma, my. My traumas, my wounds, all the stuff that we hear about that's out there, and we all go through it. We're all going through it right now. I'm going through it. We're all going through it. So this transformation happens on 10 different levels. And these 10 levels were created as a way for the light of the Creator to shine in stages. In stages. So it is not shining all at once. And so the way these 10 dimensions work is the highest dimension actually is the full revelation of light. It's called keter. And the lower dimension, the lowest dimension, is called malchut. And it's devoid of light. So if you can imagine, when you start from the bottom, the least amount of light, most darkness, and every dimension you climb, there's a little bit more light and a little bit more light and a little bit more light. And you climb these dimensions by your spiritual work. And when you've climbed all 10. So to speak, you capture another part of your soul that enters your body, and you can hold this new miraculous reality. Okay, but what happens when you complete a cycle of 10? What happens when you fulfill these 10 dimensions? And in practical terms, it means you pass the test. You went through a really difficult period. You're going through a breakup. You're going through some kind of loss, a financial loss. You're going through a health challenge. You're going through, you know, a dark night of the soul. And you're using all the spiritual tools you've learned through Kabbalah, different modalities to push through it, to be positive, to transform, to have certainty, to be a giver and not a taker in all the things that we learn in Kabbalah. And then you break through. So you kind of climb these 10 levels. Then you reach the highest level, keter. So everything's revealed. This is also the phase of being rebuilt. The miracles become evident. You realize it was a test. The whole time. You're kind of laughing at how you even were scared about your situation a year ago, two years ago. It's kind of like this breakup I just heard about where she's like, I don't know if I'll ever find another man like that again. And we've heard this a thousand times before. I'm never gonna. How am I ever gonna find someone so great after just end of this relationship? And we know that any relationship that has ended, the Creator wants to give you something greater. There's no mistakes, there's no loss. What's yours is yours. What's meant for you is meant for you. We control the time. Our free will is the timing of it all. And the second free will that we have is how we get there. Either through pain and suffering or through transformation. So these are two free wills. Am I going to go the more passive route, which means that pain and suffering push me to grow and change, and eventually what's mine will come to me. And that could take lifetimes, right? You could wait lifetimes to find your soulmate because you're stubborn and you don't want to change certain things about you, or you don't think you need to change. I was talking to somebody recently, and they said right before their breakup, the person said, I don't think I need to change. I think you need to change. I don't think there's anything I need to change. That's a pretty bold statement if you think there's nothing you need to change. That means that pain and suffering will teach you because if you have a physical body, you have a tikkun, you have a correction. You will not come to this world without something to correct. Otherwise you would become an angel and you would leave the physical realm. So we are going through this process. And when you reach this highest realm called Keter, everything is revealed. This feels good. This is the stage where we're kind of experiencing the revelation. It says, the revelation of the face of the Creator. It all makes sense to me now. Now what's interesting is when you're ready for your next level or your next revelation, the whole 10 starts over again. So you're actually starting at the Malchut, the lowest part of the next level. You're graduating from the highest part of the former level into the lowest part of the next level. Imagine, here's an analogy for you. Let's say you're on the JV basketball team, the junior varsity basketball team. And you are like the star player on the junior varsity team. You are the best. In fact, you're so good they want to elevate you to varsity. When you get to the varsity league, you're actually the worst player there. You were the best on the JV team and now you're the worst in the varsity team. The question is, would you rather be in the JV league or the varsity league? Would you rather be the best player in the minor leagues or the worst or medium player in the major leagues? This is the question. And the truth is we don't really have a free will. There is no question here. Because we all must make it to the major leagues. And when you get there, you will start off as the worst. But what happens when this process starts for each one of us is we think we went backwards because we're experiencing the emptiness all over again. We start to experience the old insecurities again. We start to experience the old doubts again. Old toxic relationships come back. We see ourselves making the same mistakes we always made. Does that mean you're not spiritual? Does that mean you failed? Does that mean you've done something wrong? And the answer is no. When you are leaving the head of the fox and entering the tail of the lion, when you are going to your next level, it's going to feel like you went backwards. And I really want to double down on this I'm going backwards narrative that we all have. I have it too. Just because you made a mistake, you didn't go backwards. In fact, the sages tell us that many times the Creator forces a mistake to happen because there are lessons that must be learned by virtue of the mistake. Meaning you didn't even have free will to make that mistake. You were plunged into this darkness. Not because of a test. It's not because you were being tested on that one mistake. You're actually being tested about how you feel about it afterwards. You're being tested about how you show up after the mistake was made. You are being tested on the guilt, shame, and fear you carry after the falling occurred. That's your real test. And in fact, 99% of the tests we go through are not for that one mistake we made. But it's how much we live in the past, the regret that we have, how much we complain about it, how much we beat ourselves up both passively, consciously, unconsciously. That's where the real test is. And the real test is always, where are you at right now? Where is your consciousness right now? Where is the vibration? Because there are so many stories that the sages tell us about how. It's a story of this one woman, her name is Rachav. It's a biblical story, and it says her whole life she was a harlot, a prostitute, that all she did is try to destroy men's lives. She was one of the most beautiful women in the world, one of the most seductive women in the world. And she used her power for negativity. It says in the final moments of her life, she felt the light of the Creator. She transformed her consciousness internally. He truly, truly saw that her whole life was actually not the way she was meant to live. She saw she was a high soul and she committed to the light of the Creator. And it says she passed away actually, moments after that. And when her soul elevated, it elevated to a very high place in the Garden of Eden. And so the commentators say, how is it that for her entire life she was negative, but then the moments before her death, she shifted her consciousness and transformed. And her reward was as if her whole life was spiritual. Because the sages tell us there is no time, there is no space, there is no motion. From the Creator's point of view, what you decide today becomes everything you were in the past and everything you ever will be in the future. So powerful this is for all of us. Whatever you decide today to be, whatever vibration you decide to operate at, is everything that you will have been in your past and everything you will be in your future. But the negative side, the opponent, the Satan, this angel who was created as a good angel to challenge us, to make us become like God, keeps taking our mind into the past and into the future and wasting our time constantly. That is the test. Not just to be present. Being present is a big part of it. It's the beginning part of it. But it's what do you do in this vessel called being present? It's happiness, it's appreciation, certainty, it's prayer. It's becoming like the creator. It's all technology. Everything I'm sharing with you is technology. It's not religion, it's not new age, it's not woo woo. It's technology. It's like as it's more advanced technology than your iPhone, it's more advanced technology than AI. AI is just AI was only created to help all of us believe more in the power of consciousness. Because consciousness is the highest level of AI. AI doesn't have consciousness. It can get very close, but it's still not consciousness. My thoughts here in Los Angeles are affecting something in China. There's no time, space or motion with consciousness. I can think about China and I'm there. I can think about something billions of miles away and I'm there. It's the power of the mind. It collapses. Time, space, in motion. So, in summary, this is the energy of our week. What you do at this present moment, you have the energy, the gift, the availability to be present. And as a result, whatever you decide you are at this present moment is what the past becomes and what the future is and nothing else matters. And you are never going backwards. You are actually never failing. This might be very triggering to some people. And the people who are triggered by this are the people who gain nourishment from beating themselves up, gain nourishment from living in a life of drama, gain nourishment or have the belief system that you must suffer in order to succeed. Nowhere is it written that you must suffer. You must become this energy. And I agree, becoming the energy of success often requires practice and hard work. But whoever said you have to suffer, whoever said you have to suffer, that's something you made up because it fulfills the narrative of our soul's correction. It protects the soul's correction instead of transforming it. Who told you that you must suffer to be successful? Who told you that you must suffer to be wise? Who told you that it takes a long time to be wealthy? Many, many, many years. Many, many years. Who told you that? I mean, we can go on and on about all the limited beliefs that we carry. Probably for our next episode, we'll get deeper into the who Told yous, into the baggage that we all carry. I know I spoke about it in the first couple podcasts about these belief systems, the limited belief systems, the spiritual upper limit that we cast upon ourselves. This is the energy of this week. Do something practical right now, after you finish listening, and just determine what you want this present moment to be, because that is erasing your past and replacing it with whatever you think and feel, and it is literally creating your future.
