Give me 13 minutes, and I'll save you a lifetime of wasted potential..

This is a single-speaker 13-minute YouTube motivational talk (by Elay Amitay Halevi) that urges listeners to unlock wasted potential by rewriting self-limiting narratives, shifting internal state, and taking concrete action. The speaker frames every desirable version of the self as already existing in a realm of possibilities and argues that a limiting identity and attachment to past pain block that reality. Practical guidance is given in a short roadmap: (1) take control of attention, (2) separate from the inner critic, (3) stop playing victim and take radical responsibility, and (4) follow small inspirations into action; repeated emphasis: action eliminates fear and creates evidence that rewires identity. The talk mixes metaphysical language (non-physical time, vibrational state, flow) with pragmatic examples (joining a class, asking someone to lunch) to motivate behavior change.

You haven't even scratched the surface as to what you can experience in your life. So many of us are sitting on our potential and that potential is waiting to be unlocked in this lifetime. If you've got a yearning, if you've seen glimpses, if you have certain desires for things, those are clues that your potential is within you, waiting to be discovered. There is a version of you that exists right now who is successful, who's living your dreams, who's confident, who's happy, who's healthy, who's loving, who has everything that you want and is embodying everything that you wish you could. Right now, that version of you exists. Just like every single version of you exists all at once. Time in the non physical doesn't exist. Every possibility exists as a potential. The reason you're experiencing this potential reality as an actual physical reality and not a potential is because of your state of being. It's because of your paradigm. That version of you doesn't have the same attachments that this version of you has. You are too attached to a story that takes your power away. You're too attached to an identity that keeps you limited and small. The story is that I can't do that because that's not me. I can't go for this thing because that's not who I am. Who you are is just a story. It's made up, it's changeable. Your brain is an efficiency machine. So you've trained yourself to attach meanings and stories to the events in your life when none of them actually mean anything until you process them. It's the story that you've been running that is giving things the meaning, that is disempowering you. So it's time to start rewriting that story. You're going to get two people who walk down a path and one person thinks it's the most beautiful thing in the world. They see all the good, they see all the opportunity, they see all the beauty. And another person is walking down that same path and all they can see is pain and suffering and limitation. The path is the same. It's the paradigm and perception of the person walking the path that changes. No matter how talented you really are, no matter how capable you really are, no matter how destined you are for something bigger than greater, more in this life, you're not going to ever be able to access that. If you keep telling this self limiting story that you've been telling for your whole life. You're never going to be able to know how much potential, how much power, how much Talent you have until you get around that story. Let me tell you right now, whatever it is you want to do. There's someone who is less smart, less capable, less. Less intelligent, less funny, less charismatic, less beautiful, less everything than you are, who's doing that thing, all because they just told themselves that they could, that that was what was going to be true for them and that anything else was going to be unusual. This is the thing, the thing that you want. You have to get to a point where any other option would be abnormal. It has to be so expected and so normal that you're going to make a million dollars, that you're going to be successful in business, that. That you're gonna be healthy, that you're gonna be beautiful, that you're gonna be abundant, that you're gonna be loved, that anything else feels unusual to you. It has to be your normal narrative and your normal story. And that's how it becomes your normal reality and your normal life. There's someone out there right now living your dreams. There's numerous people. There's probably an ocean of people out there right now living some of your dreams, if not all of your dreams, who don't have the same skills, qualities and strengths that you do. But they can still do it because they told the story that aligned with that experience. So it's not that you are not good enough to experience, that you're telling yourself a really disempowering story this whole time that makes you think that these things are off limits to you, when nothing is really off limits to you. That feeling that you get when you see something that just lights you up, when you have a desire for something that you just can't make sense of with words, when you listen to a song and it just activates something within you, those feelings exist within you. You're the creator of the feelings, which means you can create experiences that feel like those feelings. Anything that you can emotionally resonate with in something or someone else means it can exist within you in your life. It's not other things that are creating these feelings in you. You're the creator of them. So you can create a life that feels like your favorite song, you can create a life that feels like whatever you can picture in your head and feel clearly. If you want to live by the beach, if you want to feel the sun on your face, if you want to have a big family, if you can feel what that feels like, that means that something that is within your being, that can be created physically by you, all you have to do is take control of your attention, take control of your emotions, take control of your thoughts. Thoughts to the point that you've shifted what you're focusing on so much from all the negative and all the limitation. And now you're just looking at the possibilities. You're looking at what can change for you, what can be different for you, what can be magical and fun and beautiful for you. When you focus your attention on that, that's when those things open up for you. I think we think that, you know, we have to cling on to our pain and our suffering because if we don't, then it's like, oh, well, it never happened. Or the person who hurt me, they're never gonna. They're just gonna get away with it. But they are gonna get away with it either way. And they're actually having more power over you. Whatever situation you're hurt over, it keeps having power over you. The more you hold onto it and the more you act like a victim to it. You set yourself free from it by deciding to just let it go and embody really what you want to embody in this life. This narrative of limitation that you've been running, it probably didn't really come from you. It came from people around you. It came from maybe experiences that hurt you and you took on and made them mean that there was something wrong with you. But those aren't yours to carry. They were never yours to begin with. And you just carrying them on your shoulders for your whole life is doing nothing but keeping you small. Stop using external markers for your state of being. You could be in heaven in your mind, and nothing outside has changed. Everything could be going to shit, but you still feel good internally. That's when you become invincible, and that's when your world will shift and align. There's a universal flow of energy where essentially things just come rushing at you. Everything that you want just comes into creation very quickly. But in order to be in that flow, it can't pass through you. If you're in a super low vibrational state where you're focusing on all the lack and the limitation and the doubt and the fear and the suffering, you have to become like a state of inner flow essentially, in order for outer flow to be able to pass through you. So when you prioritize that, that is your only priority because everything else will come to you. There's a Bible verse about this as well. Seek first the kingdom of God and then everything else will be added onto you. Right? All the clues are there that this is how it should Go. But yet we're trained to focus on the external. And it's the number one thing in coaching and in my community, when I talk to people, I have to keep clocking them like, hey, okay, yes, this happened, that happened. They come on the call and they're saying, this, this, this, this, he, this, that, them, job, mom, dad, boyfriend, girlfriend, whatever. And I'm like, that's not where your power is. Your power is in your state. When you change that, everything else around you will change. How you start to rewrite the story is you start paying attention to things differently. Attention is the portal through which information gains access to your mind. So if you keep paying attention to the same negative stuff, to the same stuff that's draining you, making you feel insecure, then guess what? You're going to keep feeling like that, take control of your attention. That's step one. Step two is to separate yourself from the negative thoughts in your head. That inner critic, you don't have to believe the inner critic. The inner critic is never going to be happy with you, no matter what you do. So there is no point taking on board what that voice says. It is unreasonable and it's never going to be happy. So there's no point trying to please it. Step three is you got to stop making excuses and you got to stop complaining. You have to stop acting like a victim in your life, and you need to start taking radical responsibility for everything in your life, because nothing could exist unless it exists first within you. When you keep speaking and perceiving yourself as a victim, you're robbing yourself of your power because you're putting the blame on things outside you, which means only things outside you can fix the situation. When you take responsibility and you put that responsibility on yourself, that means you can change the situation. You instantly get your power back. If you have an idea for something, if you have inspiration to do something, but you just sit on that and you avoid taking action, that takes your power away as well. And that does nothing to rewrite your story. For example, you have an idea to join a Pilates class. You have an idea to volunteer so somewhere. Or you have an idea to ask someone for lunch or do something new or join a new gym or whatever, make a video. Don't sit on your ideas. Because when you physically show yourself that you're going to follow through on your inspiration and your intuition, your feelings to do things, that is the fastest way to start rewiring your own story. When you have undeniable evidence, like, hey, look, I did this new thing Right. This is something that the old me would never do. I've just gone and done it. That immediately tells yourself that you're not the same as you were before, that more opportunities are going to be possible for you, that you can trust yourself to go after new things. Fear is the biggest thing that keeps people stuck. Fear of taking action. So millions and millions of people, they live their whole life and they die without ever really accomplishing much, without ever really enjoying much, all because of fear. And fear is just fear. It's not a tangible thing you can hold in your hands. It's a mental infection. And you can really think about the amount of potential and lives wasted because of something that is not even a physical, real thing. It's just fear. It's so devastating. Don't let yourself be one of those people in action. Not taking action amplifies fear. Action eliminates fear. Your freedom is on the other side of everything you fear. When you can walk through the things that you fear, fear disappears. I always quote Leila Hermosi. Fear is a mile wide and an inch deep. When you're looking at the thing you fear, you're thinking, oh, my God, that's going to be awful. When you're walking through it, you're thinking, wow, this is what I was scared of. And when you come out the other end, you're thinking, I can do anything. There are people who are living your dreams right now, and the only thing that is stopping you is a little bit of fear about something. That's probably just going to be a little bit uncomfortable, but it's probably going to really bring you so much pleasure because it's to set you free. If you really think about it, there's some clear actions that you know are going to get you there, but they're all on the other side of fear. The highest you, the most embodied you, is on the other side of this identity that you're addicted to, this fear, this suffering, and this story that you're addicted to. So it's time for you to let that go. Don't waste your whole life playing small just because of what might happen. So what if people laugh at you? So what if people criticize you? They probably won't anyway. People don't care what you do, but you're gonna care when you're on your deathbed that you didn't just go for it, that you didn't live up to your potential, that you didn't follow those glimpses and those moments of inspiration when they came. Those are the things that are going to set your soul on fire. Those are the things that make life worth living. They're like a thread. And when you pull it, when you follow those urges and those desires, magical paths unfold in your life. Things that you never thought were possible become possible for you.
