As a parent, what is the most significant legacy you can leave your children? What is the most significant energy the souls of your children are looking for from you? Kabbalah explains that the souls of our children choose us as parents, knowing that we would be the perfect parents for them to fulfill their correction and elevation in this lifetime. In many cases, unborn souls even play a role in helping parents find each other in order to conceive and bring that soul down into this world. As parents, we have been given the spiritual responsibility not to ever use our children to fill our own lack, but to provide what is perhaps the greatest gift that you can give. The gift of consciousness. Consciousness means helping your children realize the power they have inside themselves to create the life they want and are meant to have. Consciousness means empowering your children to know that they are never victims, that the world is perfect even in our illogical mind. And what is asked of each of us is to grow our certainty in a universal higher power that is good and wants to do good for us. The best way to teach consciousness is to embody it. If we feel we are victims, we are modeling this low vibration for our kids. If we are holding grudges or hurt, this vibration is being felt by our kids. By taking steps towards modeling certainty for our children, we ensure to pass down to them the most significant legacy we can bestow, as well as help fulfill their purpose in this world.
