Hi, everyone.
Welcome to this guided meditation for entering the sky of awareness. You're going to come into a seat, a comfortable seat, or you can lay down. I would recommend just sitting up nice and comfortably. And basically what we're going to do, the whole intention of this practice is to get you into the observer state. Whether you arrive there today or not is really not so much in your control. All that matters is that, that you've shown up today. So if you have a busy mind today throughout this practice, that is fine, that is perfect. That's how it needs to be for today. Let it be. And that, that mantra, let it be, that's going to be your mantra for this entire meditation. So with meditation, when you sit down and you find your thoughts are getting pulled in every direction, sometimes that's necessary in order for our minds to become clear. Sometimes your brain just needs space and time to process everything that it hasn't had time to process. So if you find you've sat down here today and you've got a very busy mind, let it be busy. So as you meditate here today, it's going to be pretty much unguided. You're only intention with this is to allow your mind to wander, allow yourself to think a thought and then bring your awareness. When you catch yourself kind of finishing a thought or in the middle of a thought and you feel you're done with that thought, you can catch your awareness and bring it back to the present moment. Then your mind might drift again. You can catch your awareness again and bring it back to the present moment again. That is meditation. That is all you have to do. This is not an exercise of trying to achieve something. You're just being with whatever comes up, whatever is there. The more you train yourself at the end of each thought to bring your attention and your awareness back into the present moment, back into your body, the more you're training your mind to relax into observer state. And when you do this, practice consistently. If you do this meditation every morning for a week, there will come a moment. You may not reach it today, but you will reach it where you bring your attention and your awareness back from your thoughts into the present moment. And it will stay there. And then you enter what I call the sky of awareness, or that observer state where you're detached from your old thought patterns and you're floating in unlimited possibilities in your subconscious mind in the void state. Now, before we begin, I want to just take a few deep breaths together, just to help you relax into the moment. And then after we take Those breaths, I invite you to just sink into your body and let go. Okay, so when we breathe in, a very helpful tool that you're going to have with you throughout this meditation is when you breathe in. You want to imagine that breath coming in through your nostrils, all the way down, all the way down into your chest, into your stomach. And then when you breathe out, you can imagine that breath coming up and leaving your body. You want to really feel the breath as it comes in through your nostrils and expands down into your chest, into your stomach. And then when you exhale it out, you want to feel it coming out of your mouth or out of your nose, and you want to really be present with that sensation. When you find your mind drifting and wandering, you can use that breath to anchor you back into the moment and back into your body. Another practice to anchor you back into the moment and into your body is to simply just become aware of your body and how much space your body takes up. So we're going to do it together now. Keep these little tools in mind for when your mind drifts and you want to bring it back. And that is going to be the whole practice. Okay? So when you're ready, relax the shoulders down. Relax any tension in your jaw, any tension in your stomach, in your hips, in your legs, in your feet, in.
Your toes, in your hands, in your.
Arms, in your chest. Let yourself sink into the surface. Let yourself let go of whatever came before and whatever is going to come after this practice. Allow yourself to just be here now in your body.
Take a deep breath in through your.
Nose for account of four. 1, 2, 3, 4.
Hold it for four seconds.
2, 3, 4.
And then exhale for eight.
1, 2, 3, four, five, six, seven, eight.
And now inhale again for four.
1, 2, 3,. 4. Hold for four. 2, 3, 4.
Exhale slowly.
2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.
Relax your body completely on this next breath.
I want you to imagine that you're sending that breath.
To every muscle in your body, all the way to your toes.
And just feel that breath into your.
Body and fill it up with light.
Feel it relax all your muscles and.
Take all the stress out of your muscles.
And when you breathe it out, I.
Want you to imagine you're breathing out.
Any tension that that breath collected from your body.
We'll breathe in for four. 1, 2, 3, 4.
Hold that breath.
1, 2, 3, four.
And exhale.
1, 2, 3,4, 5, 6, 7 and 8.
Feel how much relaxation is now running through your body. Notice how your back feels against the surface. Notice how heavy your arms feel. Notice how heavy your legs feel. Feel the space that your legs are taking up. Feel into the space that your shoulders that your chest is taking up. This is how you become present and grounded in your body. You can do this at any time to bring your awareness back to the present moment. You will now sit in silence for 10 minutes. This is just 10 minutes of your life. Let your mind drift. Let your thoughts process. And bring your awareness gently back to the present moment when you feel called to do so. Be present with whatever comes up. Do not judge, do not criticize.
Just be.
You are not your thoughts. You are just the observer. Simply allow and I will speak. Speak to you again in 10 minutes.
Sam sa. Sam sa. Sa. Sa. Sam sa. Sam sa.
Deepen your breath. Bring your attention back into your body. Feel that breath. Expand your chest and your stomach. Let go of any tension as you exhale it out. You can begin to wiggle your toes or roll your neck if that feels good. To start coming back into your body into this moment.
Now you can stretch the arms up.
Take a big stretch overhead and then.
Bring your arms around in front of.
You and just give yourself a big hug. Thank you for honoring yourself today. Thank you for showing up for yourself. You are one step closer to mastering yourself, mastering your mind. And with that, you will master your reality.
