A short YouTube monologue explaining, from a Kabbalistic viewpoint, why past relationships reappear in our lives: they persist because lessons remain to be learned. The speaker argues that viewing past partners or relationships as negative traps the soul and prevents release; instead, one should reframe them as positive, soul-elevating experiences and use a releasing mantra.

Why do past relationships come back into our lives? Why does it feel like we haven't broken these soul contracts Kabbalistically? The reason why past relationships come back, whether they physically come back or energetically, you feel them or you can't stop thinking about them, or you see signs of them everywhere you go, is because there are lessons still that we need to learn from that past relationship. And often the greatest lesson is that there was nothing wrong or negative about the relationship. When we think that the person that we were with in the past was a waste of time, or they were wrong for doing something to me to hurt me, or we feel that they took a part of our life that now we will never get back, anything negative that we think about them causes us to be trapped and stuck in the current energy. And it means we cannot release their soul. Give yourself permission now to completely let go. Here's a mantra for you. I release my past relationships by seeing that they were good. They came from the Creator to help me elevate my soul, to meet my soulmate.
