The 3 Levels of Connection With the Creator

In this solo episode of the Divya Gyan Podcast (episode 99), the host explores the three distinct ways people relate to the Light of the Creator: (1) no relationship or mere after‑thought belief, (2) a transactional relationship where one approaches the Creator only when something is needed, and (3) a constant, unconditional presence‑based relationship where the seeker simply wants to be with the Creator. The talk links these levels to the experience of pain, arguing that suffering expands the spiritual “vessel” and accelerates the soul’s correction, especially in today’s fast‑moving era. Drawing on Kabbalistic ideas from the Zohar (ashrei, mercy versus judgment), the host illustrates how blessings can arrive through close calls rather than outright accidents, and how shifting from judgment to mercy opens the path to miracles. Practical guidance is offered: proactive prayer that surrenders personal agendas, asking the Creator for greater destiny, and a short guided meditation that relaxes belief systems, releases judgment, and invites unconditional presence. The episode’s purpose is to help listeners identify their current level of connection, move toward a merciful, presence‑filled relationship, and thereby manifest miracles in everyday life.
Chapters
Welcome everyone to episode 99 of the Divya Gyan Podcast, where I talk about the energy of the week and bring in a spiritual perspective from the sages, what we can do to manifest miracles. And I will make sure to finish with a short meditation at the end to help bring this all down into our vessel of miracles in our own lives. I will share a deep concept about this week's energy and then also make it practical. There are 3 different levels of our relationship with the Light of the Creator. And the reason why it's important to understand these 3 levels and find out where we are on this trajectory is because a lot of the pain and suffering that we go through in life has to do with which level we're at. I was speaking to someone recently who, had who a tremendous loss in her life. Someone very close to her passed away, and it broke her. It shattered her. Everything that was once logical, made sense, no longer did. She said that every challenge that had come to her life before, she was able to handle it. She was able to deal with it. She was able to make sense of it. It was uncomfortable, it was painful, but everything had a solution. But now the sudden loss of this person in her life, she realized her logical brain could no longer try to fix this or understand it. And so she felt broken. What happens when we feel broken? What happens when the pain is so strong, the darkness is so great, that our own mind can't make sense of it anymore? No one can make sense of it. And we feel lost. We feel alone. We feel that even the Light of the Creator has left us. What does that mean? What's going through our soul journey when we are experiencing that level of concealment? So first, you must know that the greater the darkness, the greater the expansion of your vessel that is happening. To hold the light that wants to come in. We've said it many times before, but unfortunately, there's nothing greater in this world than pain to expand us. Wisdom expands us. As you're listening right now to this, something inside you is expanding. That's for sure. Being around good company expands us. Being around people who inspire us expand us. Experiencing new parts of the world expands us, but nothing quite like pain. There's something that pain does which accelerates the process of holding the vessel of miracles and also makes you go deep in a way that you never would before. Now, the goal is to get to a place that you never have to go through pain to learn the lessons of life. And she shared with me she would never be asking the questions she's asking. She would never reach out to the Creator. She would never seek out solutions had this pain not come. Because when life is good, when everything is going our way, why should we ask questions? Why should we fix something that is not broken? But what if your soul is really meant for something so great? What if the Creator has a a big plan for you? Greater love, greater wisdom, greater depth. What if the Creator wants to bring you to such a high level of certainty where you no longer can feel anxiety even? You're no longer worried about the future. You're no longer caring at all what people think, because when you reach that level, the joy of life is every moment. A lot of people have a good life. We have stability in our lives, but we still have a lot of problems and anxiety. We're not fully experiencing the magic of miracles every moment of the day, are we? But do you know that that is your destiny? Do you know that that is what the Creator wants to give you? So what happens when we get lazy, when we get complacent, when we feel good about what we've created? We have our family, we have our children, we have our passion, maybe our business. You know, finances are good, health is good. We don't ask too many questions. Yeah, some slight improvements. This is nice. Listen to a nice podcast. Maybe I'll go to a nice seminar, spend time with my friends. But are we really breaking ourselves proactively so we can expand and receive more that wants to come in? Are we even asking the Creator the question, hey, listen, Do you have greater plans for me that I'm not paying attention to? Because if you ask the question, the Creator will communicate with you in a merciful way and say, hey, listen, I know you have a good life. I gave you that good life. But are you ready for something greater? Because I have to manifest this in your life. I can't wait another lifetime to give you this new destiny. I want to give it to you now. And you would say, I appreciate everything I have, but yes, I am ready. As a good student of the Creator, as an extension of the Creator, as a child of the Creator, I am ready now to receive even more. What do I need to do? Ask this question proactively. This is what prayer is all about. Ask the Creator right now, what do you want from me? I am open. I am surrendering everything that I think I know is right. I am surrendering everything that I feel is my stability and my comfort. And by doing so, you cannot have less. You will always receive more. More is always trying to come in. And the only reason we've ever gone through anything painful in life is because we fell asleep, we became complacent, or it was deemed from the Universe that there was no way to elevate us unless we went through that pain. The power of studying Kabbalah, the power of being on this path is, you know, I don't want to go through pain. Who wants to go through pain? We don't have to go through pain. In fact, pain doesn't exist in the Light of the Creator. So why should we go through it? Because our soul will not settle for less. Our soul will not settle for mediocrity. Your soul has come back many lifetimes because each time it died, It's time the body died and the soul went up. The soul's like, wait, what is this? We only achieved 8% of our potential. Send me back down there. Give me a new body, new family, new challenges, new soul correction. I have to manifest the rest of the 92%. And then we come down to this world and maybe we do 2%. And we're like happy with that 2% because that 2 extra percent of a soul correction brought us nice, nice family, nice income, nice this, nice travel, nice food, nice, nice, nice. But what about the other 90%? So what, you have to die and come back another lifetime? And it just becomes a few percent every life? We are living in a time that cause and effect is speeding up. Time is collapsing. There is no more, "Come for another 2% soul correction." In this lifetime, we actually must finish the job. We are experiencing in the world, in just one month, more progress, more revelation, more speed than in the last 1,000 years, have we not? And so that also relates to the timing that the soul must go through to achieve its soul correction. And that is why the acceleration will bring more miracles in this world, but also a lot more pain and suffering. We want to be on the side of what the Zohar says is ashrei, blessings. That means that every lesson you learn is through blessings. Every lesson you learn is through a close call, not the actual accident. For example, if you're tailgating someone, you're driving closely behind them, and then they stop, and then you try to stop, but you hit them, and you've now totaled your car. It's annoying. You have to pay for your car. You have to pay for their car. You don't have a car for a few months now, but you've learned a lesson. You're not going to tailgate. What if the same exact scenario happened? The person stopped on a dime, you stopped on a dime, your car got so close to that accident, but you were half an inch away, and you look and you see this little margin. You're like, oh my God, I almost destroyed my car and maybe even worse, hurt them, hurt myself. I'm never going to tailgate again. The difference here is you learn the same lesson, and one with pain and suffering and chaos. Because your car got totaled, and another one through a close call. This is mercy. This is ashrei. And the way we go on the path of mercy is we must always open ourselves up to talk with the Creator and say, hey, how am I doing? Is there something I'm missing? I'm receiving so many blessings in life, and I appreciate it. But I don't want to be fooled. I think I know I'm doing the right thing, but I don't want to be fooled. Is there something more? Please show me with mercy. Am I supposed to be a teacher? Am I supposed to do something greater in life? Am I supposed to broaden and expand my relationship? Because things are good. I don't want to rock the boat. A lot of times people don't want to rock the boat in their relationships, so they don't really say what they want. They don't say what they enjoy. They don't say what's important to them in intimacy, in travel, in food. Sometimes we'd rather just not say what we like or who we are or what's good for us because we don't want to be a bother. We don't want to upset them. We don't want them to leave us. We don't want to sound annoying. We don't want to sound ungrateful. And so we shrink. We make ourselves smaller. And we do that in life. And some of us have a belief system that we don't want to bother the Creator. Why should I even ask for these things? This is not what you ask the Creator for. Yes, you ask the Creator for everything. Think of a parent and a child. When our children withhold their feelings from us, even the smallest of feelings, we don't like that. We want our children to share with us even if something small is bothering them. 'Cause if our children just say, you know what, I don't wanna bother my mom or my dad, I'm just gonna hold on to all my problems. Imagine your teenager holding on to all their problems. We know that that eventually is gonna cause more problems. Better that your son or daughter comes to you and says, hey, listen, I've been experiencing some sadness, experiencing some pain here, experiencing some heartbreak, and I just wanted to let you know about it. That's it. Even that alone, as parents, now we can connect with them. We can support them. We can help them. We can be there for them. Same with the Creator. Even though the Creator knows everything that we are going through, we told the Creator, do not get involved unless we ask. And the way we ask is we pray. We simply ask out loud, Creator, I give you permission to intervene. I give you permission to show me if this relationship is the right one or not. Creator, I give you permission to show me if this business I'm in is right or not. Oh no, but I know it's right. I gotta hold on to it. I, I know there's a deal closing. I know this is how I'm gonna make the most money. Are you open to this being the worst thing for you, be open. Be open. And it's much harder when the energy is stronger, when there's a lot of money on the line, when there's a very intoxicating relationship on the line. Nobody wants to ask the Creator if this is right for me. We just want to go enjoy it. Just give it to me. Leave me alone. I just want to enjoy myself. You know how many times that you just do something you know you shouldn't do, but you just want to enjoy yourself? You hope no one's looking. You hope no one's judging you. You hope if there's a camera on you, you would not be proud of yourself. But who cares? I just want to enjoy myself. Let me have it. Let me just do this and do that and text this and go here and— one second. Pause. Creator, forget about what I want, because I know if I align myself with what You want, I get everything I want. King David said, all I desire is to be in the courtyard of the Creator. Didn't ask for anything specific. He said, "I just want to be with You. Show me everything that You want." And so these are the 3 buckets. Bucket number 1 is a person who has no relationship with the Creator. Maybe they don't even believe the Creator exists. Maybe they do and they think, "Yeah, it's this nice concept, this nice force. Maybe I'll do something spiritual or religious once a year. Maybe I'll attend something, I'll do some traditions and rituals depending on where my family came from." But it's like an afterthought. That is the first bucket. People in this bucket, they never truly experience the pleasure, the blessings, and the miracles that the Creator wants to give them. This kind of person, it says that they are nourished from the klipot, from the negative side. They just get sparks of light here and there, lots of ups and downs, and they're always just living off of a spark here and a spark there. And I get this person that like me and get this deal and get this, this, and then just a lot of pain and suffering, a lot of ups and downs, a lot of lack of clarity, a lot of lack of control. But I'm getting by. The second bucket is you have a relationship with the Creator, but it is transactional. And it's not a bad thing, but it's a starting point. What does it mean to be transactional? I came home from a trip after 7 days. I hadn't seen my children. I run into the room. I see my 4 kids stand there and they run to me. Daddy, Daddy, we're so happy you're home. Do you have a gift for us? Literally all 4 of them. Do you have a gift? What did you bring us? I said, excuse me, I didn't bring you anything. I am the gift. Are you not happy that I am home? Just to be with me? And they're like, "Yeah, yeah, we love you, but no gift? No gift?" Now, of course they love me. Of course they're happy I'm home. But how does it feel when, as a father, as a mother, as a grandparent, your grandchildren come to you and say, "Papa, Papa, do you have a gift for me?" We want to feel that our presence is enough, do we not? But we understand they're children, they ask for things, so we'll give it to them. But we don't feel the closeness to our children when they're just asking us for stuff, when they're only happy to see us when we have something for them, but they're not really happy to see us when we have nothing to give them, right? They ignore us. They're doing their own thing. But do you know, in life, many of us have that relationship with the Creator. We like to be in the presence of the Creator if He has something for us. What do you have for me today, Creator? Oh, you have nothing? Okay, so I'm going to go over here and, you know, get my dopamine in a different way. I'm going to put my attention somewhere else. We only come to the Creator when we need something, when we're broken, when something's not working, when our logical mind's not working. But what if you came to the Creator with the same desire, the same craving, the same intensity as what the sages say? You're, you're, you're on death row, you're about to be executed. The executioner is minutes away from taking your life. What is that prayer that you pray out loud, knowing that nobody can help you, knowing that there's not a force in this world that could help you besides the Creator? Who are you talking to? What do you really care about at that moment? Are you thinking about your finances? Are you thinking about how many calories you ate that day? Are you thinking about your future? Are you thinking about that trip you planned in the summer? No, you're just thinking, how do I live? Creator, please, I beg of you, how do I even live? In a few minutes, I'm going to die. And so the highest level of the relationship with the Creator is what King David said, I only want to be in your presence. Whether you give me, you don't give me, I just want to be like you. What does it mean to be in the presence of the Creator? It means you talk to the Creator all the time, as much as you can, everywhere you go. You talk to the Creator when things are good. You talk to the Creator when things are bad. You just enjoy being in His presence. And what does that mean practically? It's when you are acting like the Creator, when you don't think you're better than everyone else. When you're living with certainty that everything is good, you're in the presence of the Creator, because the Creator is good. And so when you believe everything is good, you are aligned with his energy. When you are not wishing harm on other people, you know how subconsciously we're hoping that other people suffer? We're hoping that, you know, we were the arbiter of what people should or shouldn't have. I don't think they deserve that money. I don't— this new love that he found, he doesn't deserve that. He's not a good guy. This deal that he got, he doesn't deserve that. And so we judge people. Maybe you were hurt. So you're hoping that your ex or other people who have hurt you, they suffer. They get a, as we say, taste of their own medicine. Whenever you are hoping that someone gets a taste of their own medicine, you are not acting like God. And so you are not in the courtyard of the Creator. You are just like that child that says, Daddy, Did you bring me a gift? Or even worse, the child that doesn't even say hello to his father when he comes home, totally ignores him, doesn't want to see him. That is the first bucket, which is also a relationship that many people have with the Creator. So if you want to enter the realm of miracles, especially in this week, this is the week the Creator will answer you. This is the week that you can feel closer, unconditionally closer, not transactionally closer. Do not be the child that says, Papa, did you bring me a gift? Tell the Creator the next time you're in pain, I don't care if you solve my problem or you don't. I just want to be with you. Let's do a meditation now to help bring this into fruition. Regardless of our past, regardless of who you were, how you were brought up, what you believed, all that matters is what you feel right now. Let's take a deep breath in. Hold it for a moment and let go. When you relax your body, I also want you to relax all your belief systems, all the things that you're so certain about. You believe it has to be this way. I want you to relax your sense of justice. Your sense of fairness. There are people that you believe should be punished. They did wrong things. Maybe they're not good people. You believe that. And whether that's true or not, when you wish for someone to go through pain or to fall or to learn a lesson, you become the force of judgment. And so you cannot be in the courtyard of the Creator. You cannot walk the land of miracles. You will stay in the realm of judgment. Why do you want to be someone else's judge? Someone else's prosecutor? Someone else's executioner? Why do you want to live this life? Would you not rather live in the realm of angels, the realm of miracles, in the realm of being a builder versus a destroyer? Let the Creator do the work of cause and effect. The Creator is perfect. Are you doubting? The Creator's ability to bring perfection to this world? What if the world is already perfect? And every time we try to get involved, say who should have what, who should do what, who should change what, we're doing the Creator's job. Why don't we just do our own job? Our job in this world is to let go of every scheme, idea, thought of how we're gonna create something in this world, and first just say, Creator, I want to be with you. Whether I get, I don't get, don't worry. The Creator knows what you want. Creator knows who your soulmate is. The Creator knows how many children you're meant to have. The Creator knows how much wealth belongs to you, just waiting to give it to you when the vessel is right. Focus on building your vessel. Stop focusing on if your blessings are there or not. Stop trying to take the blessings before you're ready to receive them. There is no imperfection with the Creator. He's not going to forget about you. There is no, I've earned it, but it didn't come. The wire didn't go through, not in the realm of the Creator. If there is a delay in your life, it's because we are still holding on to the old life. We still have a transactional relationship with the Creator. But once you let it all go, Tell the Creator, I don't care what I receive. You know what I want. I don't even care if I get it or I don't. I just want to be by your side. I want to be your friend. I want to be in your courtyard. I want to be your greatest student. I want to love you unconditionally regardless of what I get or don't get. Now, this Father, this King, This Creator wants to give everything to you. Now he feels close to you. Now that he feels you want to be in his presence and you're not just looking for presence, he wants to give you everything. The highest level. In this level there is no judgment. Many of us have judgments that are hanging over our our heads. We all do. Part of it is because we want so much in life. We have such great souls, such big desires, and so with that comes judgment as well. If you think small, there'll be less judgments. If you think big, it's going to be more scrutiny. Don't be afraid of the scrutiny. Transform all judgment to mercy. This week by seeing everything with the merciful eye. See the good. See the blessings. Talk out loud to the Creator, because every time you do, everything becomes sweetened. You are in this lifetime fully destined to receive all that has been delayed for thousands of years. I want you to feel what it feels like just to let go. Let go. You're going to have to let go one day anyways. Moment you let go, you're going to feel this rush of energy coming right through you. You're going to see the whole picture. All the dots will be connected. Let go and let the Creator do his job.
