Two speakers explore music and love through philosophy and original poetry. Martin Luther called music a divine gift; Khalil Gibran said it's the language of the spirit. Love is compared to a river, a razor, a hunger, and a rose that blooms after winter.

Music, spirituality, religion. Is there something sacred? Martin Luther said, "I have no pleasure in any man who despises music." It is no invention of ours. It is a gift of God. I place it next to theology. Satan hates music. He knows how it drives the evil spirit out of us. And Khalil Gibran said, "Music is the language of the spirit. It is the secret of life, bringing peace, abolishing strife." Certainly true for me. It brought peace into my life. To me, It's about poetry, and music is like the carrier wave that carries the meaning of that poetry deep into the being, into the space, into the inner space.
What is love?
You can hum on this too, or you can sing.
<LYRICS>Some say love, it is a river.</LYRICS> The Drown, the Tender Reap. Some say love, it is a razor that leaves your soul to bleed. Some say love, it is a hunger, an endless aching need. I say love, it is a flower, and you, it's only seed. It's the heart afraid of breaking that never learns to dance. It's the dream Afraid of waking, that never takes a chance. It's the one who won't be taken, who cannot seem to give. And the soul Afraid of dying, who never learns to live. When the night has been too lonely and the road has been too long, And you think that love is only for the lucky and the strong. Just remember, in the winter, Father Lee, the biggest Eyes to see that with the sun and the love, in the spring becomes the rose.
