How I Finished 2 Weeks of Legal Work in 1 Day

Attorney Enrico Schaefer shows how he uses ChatGPT and Perplexity with Salesforce and a text-expander to finish two weeks of legal work in one day. He walks through extracting client data, injecting it into AI prompts, and generating a $550 paid legal assessment email that respects his business rules like never offering free intro calls.

Welcome to today's YouTube video where I talk about how I, as a practicing attorney and one of the leading experts on how to use these AI tools at work, how I used AI tools today. If you are a lawyer, a law firm, or a legal professional who's looking to 10x or 100x your potential, your abilities using ChatGPT and other AI tools, then this is the channel for you. You should right now go ahead and subscribe, like, and share with your partners or friends, because without the skills that we're teaching here, your chance of surviving as an attorney in the years to come is potentially zero, but certainly is going to be limited. What I'm able to achieve in a day is 10 or 20 or 50 times what you can, because I'm using— AI tools, but more importantly, I'm using them correctly, and I'm here to show you how to use them correctly. What we did is we transitioned some of our content to really be practical. So during this video, I'm going to be showing you how I actually used AI today, my specific prompts that I use on actual matters, redacted of course of all client information, so that you can really start to dig in and see how it is you can start using these tools and get trained on what the proper techniques are. So there's the skills, there's the mentality, and there's the strategy on how you go about using these tools. And there is an infinite amount to learn. So let's get into what I did today with AI. So today was a huge day. I can't even begin to express to you how amplified I was using AI tools today, how I was using ChatGPT and Perplexity to do things that were literally impossible 3 years ago before I started leveling up on ChatGPT and some of these other tools. I did what normally would've taken me a week or 2 weeks that would've involved delegation to associate attorneys and waiting for it to come back. I was able to do all of that in 1 day for my benefit, for my client's benefit, for my law firm's benefit. And I will tell you, the number one thing that happens when you start using these AI tools is your clients get so tied to you, your client relationships become so strong because you're delivering such amazing work product in such a timely fashion that they start to think, you know what, I'm getting tremendous value out of my law firm. And how many times do you think your clients sat back and actually thought that about your legal services? Probably not very, because we're the ones that understand the value. They rarely do. With AI enabled, Attorneys, they will actually say the words. I can't believe how spot on your work product is and how fast you were able to get it to me. So let's jump in. As you know from some of my prior videos that we pros do prospecting using AI tools. So I've built a workflow within ChatGPT where I take the intake information from Salesforce. And I use shortcodes using a text expander, what's called a text expander, where I'll put in a couple letters and it will add a whole bunch of text. For instance, Salesforce SF first generic FG 550 knows to insert the prompt for a $550 legal assessment project that gets then converted into an email that I can then send. To that prospective client. And some of our biggest clients, you know, $100 million companies come in on one of these $550 representation projects. So here is part of the email that you're seeing here that gets generated minus the client information at the top. So here are the benefits, which of course ChatGPT helped me refine the pitch. Here is my Calendly link, which allows them to not only book the call, but charges them the $550 upfront before they can actually schedule the call. And on this particular email, the client intake had said, I really want to speak to someone. Can you please call me back? And for some reason, out of my templates that I provide ChatGPT, and I give it a little flexibility, it decided to add, if you prefer to speak before retaining us, please reply to this email with a few times that work for you, and we can set up a brief introductory call. That is not what I want in my $550 representation project emails. In order to get a call, they got to pay the $550. So what I asked it to do was to please remember that we never offer an introductory call for free when we're pitching a $550 legal representation project. This is how you store your memory into memory The different things that are particular to your workflow. So remember, these are all about workflows. So I'm telling it, please remember something. It's now going to store that in its memory. And most of the time, not all the time, but most of the time, it is going to remember to never do this again. Never invite a free call when we're pitching a paid call. The other thing that it has done here is it's finished this email, which I want to cut and paste with this. Question to me, would you like to add Travis Legal article link related to online defamation? And I would now, and I did below this, say, please remember that you don't need to include anything except the text of the email, no beginning question and no ending question. And then I cut and paste this in by way of example. Really important to give examples of what you want and what you don't want so it can do its work as an artificial intelligence source for you. So You can ask ChatGPT to remember to do things and to remember to not do things in the future as you help build your workflow into the tool. Pretty cool, huh? All right. So try and remember to do that tomorrow. Try and remember to ask it to remember something to do and to ask it to remember something not to do. And if you're doing that within a project folder, then you're going to get the most likely result that you're looking for, which is Don't do this again.
