He's been using ChatGPT and Perplexity but says this multimodal capability changes things for extracting insights fast.

Those of you who subscribe to this channel, you know that I do not use a lot of different tools in my daily workflow as a lawyer using AI tools. I use typically ChatGPT, and I use perplexity.ai for deep research. And the main reason is because I just didn't want to learn all the different tools and have all these tabs open. And every once in a while, I'll play around with Claude, But I've rarely used Gemini, and there just was a big thing that happened yesterday with Gemini that's super relevant to what I do, and I think it's going to be relevant to a lot of people, which is that Gemini 3.0 is now multimodal video, meaning that you can upload any video into Gemini, and it will not only be able to tell you everything about the contents of that video, but it will read facial expressions. It sees the entire thing, not just the text. So if you want to summarize a video, or if you want to take one of your videos and turn it into a blog post, or if you've got an expert video on AI, for instance, this video or some of my longer instructional videos, and you don't have time to watch the video and you just want to summarize it, you can drop it into Gemini and say, tell me what Enrico is trying to convey in this video. What do I need to take away from this video in order to become better at using AI at work? And that's a big deal. That's a big deal. Now, these other models can't do that. You can't put video into them and expect to get anything back. Maybe it'll be able to reference the transcript at best, and that's it. So this is a big leap forward in these tools, and it, it tells us that we are still making huge gains in the models and the functionality and the abilities of these models, despite the fact that there's There's a lot of chatter about how we might be maxing out the inference and the intelligence that we can get out of models, which is already a lot, right? But it's not true because every single month we're seeing something new that is game-changing for business professionals, for lawyers looking to use AI at work. So, go ahead and check out Gemini 3.
