Enrico Schaefer argues multitasking isn't dead, it's essential now. While AI handles analysis or research for seconds to minutes, you should work on other projects simultaneously. Run multiple browser tabs, multiple ChatGPT instances, and juggle several projects at once or fall behind.

You know how everyone likes to say multitasking is bad, multitasking is something you shouldn't do, you can't divide your attention. But guess what? In the age of AI, you have to learn to multitask. You have to learn to run multiple projects at once because in many instances, you're asking for one of the models to do thinking and analysis. And research. And so that can take 15 seconds, it could take 15 minutes, it could take longer. So while AI is doing the work that you have assigned to it, you need to be doing other work. You need to learn and relearn the skill of multitasking in the age of AI. If you cannot multitask, you will be unproductive in the age of AI. So Forget everything that you've been told. Start multitasking, multiple tabs running, multiple versions of ChatGPT running in multiple tabs on your computer. And as you have the AI do work, go do other work.
