Business professionals aren't adopting AI because they don't know where to start, not because they're lazy. Organizations need a formal rollout plan with training and an acceptable-use policy. Individuals should focus on ChatGPT with structured learning and master prompting skills, since output quality depends on input quality.

You are never going to believe the number one reason why people do not lean into AI at work, why they're not developing the skills and the mindset and strategy in order to excel at AI and to use it as part of their everyday workflow. And the answer isn't what you might expect. It's not that they're lazy. It's not that they don't care. It's not that they don't realize how important AI is going to be to their future. It's because they don't know where to start. They have no idea where to jump in and how to jump in. So right now I'm going to give you a couple of key things that you just need to be thinking about. It is not as complicated as you think. There's a couple of key points that you want to keep in mind. One, if you're a business or a law firm that is trying to empower your employees with AI, then you need to take the responsibility to implement a rollout plan. And that means forming a committee. That means training up your employees and providing them the training materials that they need in a structured, reported way that allows you to not only track their training, get them the certifications they need, provide them the resources in order to know how to use these tools and primarily ChatGPT at a base level, but also advance to being able to create GPT assistance and projects with custom instructions and custom documents. But most importantly, the skills of prompting and meta-prompting they're going to need in order to get the most out of these tools. Garbage in, garbage out. And the reason why you're not getting the answers that you want or the quality responses that you want is because you're not doing it as well as it needs to be done. This is a question of your skills, your input, your ability to prompt in sequence. These are going to be the difference makers in quality on the output you get from your GPT assistant. The other thing that you need to think about as a company is you need a policy in place that limits their ability to just experiment with whatever tools they want. That's going to be an acceptable use policy for AI. If you're an individual, you've got a different set of concerns. If you're an individual and you want to power up, you need to focus in again on ChatGPT and you need to get instructions. And those instructions are going to tell you what the skills are that you need, Also give you the strategies you need in order to succeed with AI at work. Now, the best videos are the instructional videos within a learning platform that can take you step by step through the process, test your skills, test your knowledge, certify you, and move you on to the next level. This is where you have to get to if you want some sort of structured learning. If you don't have that structured learning available, then you need to watch as many YouTube videos and subscribe to the right channels.
