Generative AI assistants like GPTs work best when you treat them as collaborators you train and manage, not just tools you use once. The quality of what you get depends on your skill at instructing and iterating with them.

You need to think of them different than you've ever thought of any sort of technology before. Other technology are tools. These are more than tools.
