Agent Showdown: Meta Muse Vs Grok Bot vs Instinct vs Hermes - Who Wins?

Eric Siu tests four AI agents on real marketing and sales tasks. MetaMuse edits video and generates ad copy, Instinct books travel and manages outreach, GrokBot builds call bots and integrates with HubSpot, and Hermes digs into analytics to spot traffic problems. He compares their setup, reliability, and pricing to show which works best for different jobs.

MetaMuse, Instinct, GrokBot, and Hermes. The question is, which of these autonomous agents is better? And I'm going to walk through all the use cases that I'm using these for right now from a personal and also from a business standpoint too, so you can get a whole sense of how these work and how they might work for you. So the first one up is MetaMuse. So what I want to show you here is I just said, hey, you know what, why don't you help me optimize this Instagram reel over here? So it's connected to my Instagram, right? And I said, hey, this video recently was performing decently well on my Instagram. And so it recut the video and it said, okay, this opens with a format grid now, steal my 50 short-form formats and then your intro explanation and then comment format at the end of it. So it actually edited it. So I'll show you the edit real quick. So here's how it looks right now. It's not bad because it's leading with a visual hook. So that's helpful to me. And I'm like, okay. This has taste. This understands what's missing from my original Instagram reel, right? And it can see it in my Instagram and it knows what I need to change. And then I sent it the original version over here. So GPT-6 Astra made me a short-form ad library over here. So it actually said, hey, you should just start leading off with that first and you should start with the big payoff first, right? So anyway, I see a lot of potential here and this is going to get better. Their models are going to get better and better for MetaMuse. And so to me, From a usage standpoint, I'm not even going hardcore on the usage right now. Look, I'm on the free plan. I've only used 35% and I used it pretty heavily this morning. And I would also say that I'm doing this YouTube session right now. I said, hey, you know what? I just dictated it out using Whisperflow. I said, hey, now based on all the success you've seen from my channels, whether it's YouTube, X, which I've added those connectors and you have Instagram, I want you to give me some long-form ideas to attack today. Because today's the day that I want to spend time making long forms like this, right? Because the other time I'm focused on operating my business, right? So anyway, I was like, hey, I can probably convert some ideas instead of using Grokbot. Let's cover GPT-6 Astra instead because that formatting has worked. So anyway, it's like, okay, I pull it from your live YouTube and X right now. And here's what it says. Okay, I ran my agency on AI for 7 days, 7 Astra agents I used to run my business, the chief of staff bot. I turned my marketing team into 10 AI agents. Good, but not amazing yet, right? So you have to continue to give this stuff feedback and it does remember the feedback over time. So I said, look, number 1 is good. I just gave all the feedback over here, right? And so then it went for another round, which is my first time seeing this right now. Okay, here's a new brief over here. The 6 with headlines and thumbnails, 7 ChatGPT-6 Astra agents I use to run my business. And by the way, leave a comment if you actually want me to make this content and just leave a comment anyway, right? Like it, like it, like, subscribe, right? Help us grow here. All right, so 7 ChatGPT-6 Astra agents I used to run my business. Okay, cool. Or I can say I used to run my marketing, right? Which I think I might have done already, but it's based off these numbers over here. So it knows on YouTube I recently got these numbers and then I got pretty good engagement on X as well. So it's like, okay, well if you're performing these 2 areas, you should probably do this one over here. I'm like, okay, makes sense. How I replaced my entire— how AI replaced my entire marketing team. I would change that. I would say how GPT-6 replaced my entire marketing team. And that's more sensational. It gets the clicks, but that's based off of packaging that worked really well earlier this year. I run my entire business on AI agents for 7 days, or I ran my agents. Okay, not bad. 5 AI sales bots that book meetings while I sleep. Not bad, but I would say Grok. I would go with Grokbots because it's more trending. And then the best AI marketing bots I actually use ranked, and then how I rebuilt my business as an AI-native company, and then $2 million revenue per employee. Okay, not bad, right? This is pretty good. And in fact, I'll probably refine this a little more. I think this is like maybe 90% there, but you still need to add in a little more of your human taste. And by the way, you can name your bot too. Mine's named Doo-Doo. So name it whatever you want, right? So this is not bad. Here, I'm gonna show you from a Meta ad standpoint. So I just said, hey, look at, I want you to look, use the ad library. I want you to look at who's doing things well right now from like an offer standpoint and ads and who's been running their ads for a while, right? So Victor, they have this, Because we have Single Brain, which is where we build managed marketing agents for people. They have something that lives, like our agents live inside of Slack. Same thing, Victor, they do that too, right? So their whole thing is like an employee, not another tool, right? And they have 200 ads, right? And so I'm like, okay, well maybe we can attack, these are your marketing employees that live inside of Slack or Microsoft Teams, right? And that could be interesting because it's proven that they've been running this for a while. It probably worked for us. We just need to repackage it a little bit, right? So then Disruptive, which is an agency. This is not bad, right? This is a 90-day guarantee. So this is ROI in 90 days or you don't pay. And this has been running for 4.5 months with a named 1,500% ROAS proof stat. That's pretty good. Like from anybody that's buying from an agency, that's pretty good, right? Whisper Flow. Okay, so they have 920 ads, whitelisted creator UGC and comment flow. Okay, not bad. So Hormozi has this free agents, free frameworks magnet. And I know a large chunk of his business right now is doing these paid workshops, these intensives, right? And so I'm like, okay, well, we're not selling courses nor are we selling workshops. He's selling workshops. I don't think he's selling courses, but all that to say is like, okay, well, what are we doing? Then we should be thinking about what AI-native company frameworks we should be building because we're selling to more lower enterprise to upper enterprise, right? That's who we're selling to. Or Ryan Deiss here has a Scalable OS certification, so 107 days running. So can we do an operating system? Can we do a lead magnet? What can we do there? And so I'm like, okay, this is cool, but you gotta continue to give it more feedback. I was like, hey, I like this, I like this, whatever. And you can see over here, it's like, okay, well now it's on my lines over here. Okay, we're the AI-native marketing firm that drives ROI in 90 days or you don't pay. Okay, yes, put that on the website. 'Cause I did say that. I was like, hey, maybe we should just put this on the website 'cause that's pretty good, right? That's a pretty no-brainer offer. Nobody in the audit owns that combination. Okay. One refinement, keep ROI as the brand line, but make the pilot guarantee. Okay, great. We double your AEO share of voice in 90 days or you don't pay. Okay, that's a pretty good ad. That's also good for the service page as well, right? And then, oh, on 10x your revenue per employee, keep 10x as the movement language. It's your $200K to $2 million thesis, but guaranteed a measurable thing, not the multiple. Okay, so one of the promises can be like, we will help, our marketing will help bring your revenue per employee up from $200K to $2 million or so. Or maybe the thing we're doing with Single Brain can get you there, right? with our AI implementation. Haven't figured it out yet, right? But you can see the stack over here. It's a pretty good thought partner because it has a lot of— and by the way, this is using Ad Library, so really anything can crawl it. But Meta has a little bit of upside here because they actually have access to these platforms and they have access to all the data. So when I say the screen demo, really this is for short-form content today, right? So this is what you're supposed to prepare today before you shoot, right? The first one that I'm going to record today will be like 10 bots run my company. This is for short form, right? And then it's organized it well for me. Okay, say I run this, here's what I do exactly and what's deal log. Okay, this is great because this record day card, this is something I can easily look at on mobile and I'll know what to do and I'll know how to attack these things. And then I can also click on, I think, what does this one do over here? So this one is talking head, right? Okay, so I think this one is more for screen shares. So these are screen demos. Order 1, 2, 6, 9, 15. Okay, great. So 10 bots running my company. Okay. Here's the full stack. Most companies buy. Okay. I passed an eval. Okay, great. So these are the screen shares I could be doing for all this. And then I can combine this after I do the talking heads, which with you right now, I'm doing the talking head. This SEO is dying piece, $200K. I can talk through $2 million per revenue, how an agency has to operate. Okay, great. Well, these are all things I'm going to have to record, right? And then this is what happens for the— just the entire thing, right? It makes it easier for me to follow this. And we can also create a 10-part series as well. So we're going to continue to refine this. But oh, this is cool. It's pretty interactive too. So give me these record cards and then there's a before and after, right? So that's cool to me. It's not even the— I'm not even trying to show you an app here. I'm just saying that what it's showing me here What I started off with was like, hey, look through my organic bookmarks and look at who I'm bookmarking right now. Tell me where you think we're lacking from a social standpoint on my channel. And then eventually we refined to, okay, here's the loop that we're going to have in terms of how we're recording each day. And then here's how it works. I'm not going to go into all the details here, but now I have a recording card and who's going to be the best strategist or the best strategic friend for me? It's going to be Meta. And what better tool to use here than Meta Muse because it can call on whatever you need. By the way, if you're enjoying this video right now and if you need help with AI marketing implementation and also AI implementation, you got to check out SingleBrain. That's with a B, singlebrain.com. This is where we help people build these managed marketing agents that live inside your Microsoft Teams or your Slack to help you grow faster. Again, SingleBrain with a B, singlebrain.com, and we'll see you on the other side. So I'll just give you like the shoot card that I have today over here. in terms of ideas I'm going to cover. And then you can be the judge yourself on whether these ideas are good or not, right? So this is for short-form content. So 10 bots running my company. Okay, great. So 10 bots run my company. Here's the count. Okay. It also shows me reference files and here's the editor bullet points here. So hey editor, you should be looking at this reference. This is the format that we're trying to copy. And then here's what you should do over here. Okay? So that makes it easier for both the editor and myself. And by the way, the editor can literally just be your AI now. You can have your Claude do it, you can have your ChatGPT do it. You can combine that with a Higgs field, whatever you want to do exactly, right? Astra marketing day scorecard. Okay, great. So I ran my marketing on GPT-6 Astra for a day. Okay, great. We can talk about what worked, what didn't, and it'll give you the format over here. So I think this is all great. Okay, so this is, I think this is one of the formats over here. GPT-6. Okay, well my phone goes on, It stops it. But you can see, you get the point. Like, it'll click through to Instagram and then if the editor doesn't quote unquote get it or I don't get it, then I can just click on that and be like, okay, I understand what format we're going for. And then I can record in that way, right? And so that is, this is how I think about Muse. I think it is, it's great for ease of setup. So it's very fast to set up. You can have it chat with you on WhatsApp as well. I like that it's connected to Meta's ecosystem and I think it's just going to get better and better. Meta has proven that they're actually a player in AI now. Versus like 12 months ago, maybe not so much. So I'm excited to see what they continue to do and it responds very quickly as well. And it's free to use initially if you can just sign up for it. So I'm assuming all of you watching this right now probably are using some type of Meta product. And what I would say about Instinct is super easy to set up. And as we go through this, I've done a couple things. So I had it help me with airline bookings, okay? So what I mean by that is I'm like, hey, I have all these points over here and I don't want to necessarily do the research on how we can get the most value from these points. Let's say I want to fly to Japan during cherry blossom season. You know, here are the dates that I'm looking for right now, and then here's the amount of points I have. And then, you know, can you go look into it for me? Literally what it did, it said, hey, for these times over here, you know, April, you know, 8th, April 15th, you know, these are— this is how much it's going to cost from a point standpoint. So it's like 100,000 points or something like that. And then another time it would be— it's like it's going to be like a little more expensive, 150,000 points. And so all that to say is that it did the research for me and it logged into my rewards accounts and it, again, end-to-end research, right? So you can even have it, for example, for me, I travel around the world speaking at these marketing conferences or these business conferences or talking about AI. And the thing is I should just have it reach out for me because usually I'm not as proactive with the outreach, but what this did for me, so literally it came up with a few different places to speak at, right? And I'm going to give you an example over here. So, okay, we actually submitted these already. So yesterday it submitted these, okay? So for Web Summit Vancouver, for ShopTalk, for HumanX, for B2BMX, okay? And then for SaaStr, for Digital Summit over here. And then I just said, hey, how do we keep advancing work? Okay? So that, when you think about that, finding the right conferences to speak at, well, you have to figure out like, well, what conferences do you want to speak at? Who are you trying to target exactly? And what are you open to? And how big do you want the audience size to be? So that's a lot of open tabs. Think about you using Chrome. And so anything that requires a lot of open tabs, I think you want to have Instinct. And Instinct is free to use right now. And the setup was super easy, right? And so I'm like, okay, well, it can help me with complex tasks such as booking travel. It can also help me with finding the right place to speak at and reaching out and also coming up with angles too, right? So it came up with a bunch of different angles in terms of, Where to where to go, and then also A and A masters of marketing gave me it gave me a few more options over here. And so here here's the list, right? So here's V three in the doc. So I made a document and said, "Hey, here are the angles for each of these." For possible, this is a you know the AI native marketing organization. Okay, Human X one year with a company brain how to actually drive leverage as an AI native organization. So it gives me the ideas, and then I continue to work with it over here. That that work would have taken you hours before, and if you try to delegate it to somebody else. You'd have to spend a lot of time training them. Now you can just have that person managing these agents to push the work forward and that's great, right? So not only that, I'm like, okay, well it can work for recruiting too. So literally we have it recruiting for us right now on top of all the other recruiting workflows that I have. I just thought I'd add this in here and it did a pretty good job with it. And then not only that, from a recruiting standpoint, from a reach-out standpoint for speaking, also reach-out standpoint for podcasts. And if you can reach out for anything, you can reach out for partnerships. You can reach out for partnerships opportunities. You can reach out for sales opportunities. You can reach out for influencer, you reaching out to other influencers to sponsor, or you can reach out to other people who sponsor podcasts, for example. And one thing as it's going, by the way, you can tell that you're operating within iMessage or you're operating within WhatsApp. That's fine, but it starts to get, Hard to manage multiple threads. And so I hope they upgrade this to have the different threads on maybe the left side of your screen. So this is building the sponsor hit list with the pitch angle and concrete next steps. And so you just let it work. And so I would just say you want to have it work on one big thing at a time. And so don't do— do as I say, not as I do, right? So I have it working on recruiting right now. I have it working on podcast outreach. I have it working on speaking outreach. And then I had it Help me with a little bit of travel planning. And by the way, if you combine this with something like a Meta Muse, it's going to make it easy for you to do a travel itinerary planning because Meta Muse has access to all your Instagram bookmarks. It has access to all the people that you follow on Instagram from like a travel standpoint. And so it's going to do a better job of planning. And then you combine it with the doing from Instinct and you're going to have something pretty good, right? And so far I haven't seen anything do as well as Instinct. I think other stuff will catch up eventually, but for right now Instinct is in the lead. I think when it comes to doing unstructured complex work, and the setup is very easy as well. By the way, if you need help with AEO and SEO implementation or Reddit implementation, just go to singlegrain.com with a G. This is where our AI-native team will help on the AEO side, the Reddit side, and we also have different workflows that work with our software ClickFlow to help you generate high-quality content at scale. Just check it out, Single Grain, Single Grain with a G, singlegrain.com, and we'll see you on the other side. I love GrokBot because you can literally set up bots that can call for you. So you can see in this example over here, I had it make a phone call to schedule an appointment or confirm a massage appointment the other day. And you can say, hey, this worked as a real test. I reached Jamie at Tomoko Spa and asked for September 12th couples massage with 2 female therapists, right? And so, okay, here's a confirmed name, booking was this. And then, so that's great. It actually made the phone call and this bot, I just set it up myself. I just asked it to set up the bot and it set it up, right? So the cool thing is, okay, that's great with the call bot, but from a business standpoint, speed to lead, okay? So we basically have this speed to lead bot that's set up right now. And what it does is it's gonna immediately reach out to people within the first 60 seconds and it's gonna call them, right? And we've tested that internally and the call is actually really good. And that uses the xAI voice agent. And you can pick different voices, you can use your own voice, you can probably use, You can clone your voice if you want to. And so I would just say that over here, it's being very proactive, right? And it's also what it's— I've added some upgrades to it too, where if people are being very engaged on your email list or inside of your product and they seem to be an ideal client profile fit, it's going to try to reach out to those people, right? Whether it is speed to lead from an email standpoint or a call standpoint. But the way I think about it right now, is if people are looking for marketing help, for example, and they reach out, it calls them immediately and it qualifies them and it can move them to the next step. And it also records that information into HubSpot, right? And so here, this is something new that I haven't seen right now. Let's just see what it says over here. Okay, so free consultation. So this is someone that signed up for a free consultation. New inbound lead. Okay, here's what happened over here. Form signals $3K to $10K. Okay, so this is— do we send this message, right? Call, ask what's the main growth challenge you're dealing with right now? Which is interesting to me. I kind of want to just send this out there. Draft card for this, hit send, and the first live Breathe path is confirmed. Okay, great. So it's just looking through recent leads that have come through, and then I just need to continue to update it. But I will tell you again, this so far, when we've been testing it, it has done everything we've needed it to do. And it's also recording the data into our CRM, which is HubSpot. And I would say that— Yeah. The point I'm— the reason why I'm showing you this right now is that if someone like me who can't code can do this, you can think about all the problems that you need to solve. GrokBot has been great with routines. So GrokBot, like I showed you a speed to lead bot, I showed you a call bot. We have these talent bots as well that will help with recruiting. There's also JuiceBox as well, which is what we use for our agentic recruiting. It manages that. So it manages the agents on that side. It manages the inbound talent flow as well. And it also will run them through an eval and it'll check if they fit our criteria, right? Like do they have ideally 2 promotions at 2 different companies with the average 3-year tenure? Are they— and then after that, if they're interested after we reach out to them, do we send them our list of AI questions? And then after they answer the AI questions, is it gonna— it's gonna shortlist the ones that seem like they're a fit, right? And so all that to say is that, you know, there's— you don't wanna build too many bots. I think I have a little too many bots over here, but I think it's really cool to understand, Like this can even manage, it's managing my sponsorships right now, right? And so it's like, hey, what do we do about this company over here? You know, they're buying UGC plus 365-day global ads with no organic posts. That's not our thing over here. Most times it's mostly semi-autonomous, I would say, for the sponsorship deal desk where people reach out to me to offer sponsorships because I just don't want to deal with it. From a reliability standpoint, because all these other agents, and even when I use like a Codex or Hermes, for example, They're not exactly the most reliable, but I would say this has a very intuitive user experience and user interface. I would say that this one's like the other 2, very easy to set up and it's reliable and it's only going to get better over time. And it's already pretty powerful as it is. So that is GrokBot. The reason I love Hermes is because it's open source and you can customize it the most. It's a little harder to set up than the other ones, but being able to customize it, giving it your full context and When you give it, the more context you give it, the more helpful it can be. And I trust this as my business strategic thinker, strategic thinking partner. Because I was like, if you look at our Google Analytics, I want you to take a look at our traffic and look at where we're driving the most conversions right now. Okay? So this is looking from June to August of 2026. So homepage, 28,000 sessions and 180 converting sessions. These are for free consultations. These are basically leads, right? And the conversion rate on this is 0.63%, okay? Largest commercial priority. And then Reddit marketing agency. So a lot of people are looking for Reddit help. We help them with Reddit. So 8.33%, stronger screen rate. Okay, great. Reddit services, 2.78%. Pay-per-lead agency, right? And then paid advertising agency convert at 1.16%. About us, we convert at 0.19%. Okay? So we can probably do a better job there. And so All that to say is maybe we need to focus on optimizing conversion rate for this page. How do we get it from 0.63%? How do we double it? So I'm like, okay, well, for me as a marketer, I'm like, okay, we should go harder on this one. And then what do we need to do to bolster this page over here? And that's very helpful for me. And so earlier I was just asking, hey, what should we do here? Here's what we, like from a prioritization standpoint, Okay, well make conversion measurement trustworthy, right? So all that to say is it understands what I'm doing with my business already. It has the connectors already, and so therefore I can kind of ask it whatever I want. And not only did I ask it for the single single grain website, I also asked it for the single brain website as well. And so there's a lot that we can do here in order of priority. And then not only that, it actually spotted a an anomaly over here. So it was like, hey. What is the human conversion rate? Okay, so we have we have a suspicious traffic segment over here that was actually from China. Okay, so you can see you know excluding if we have all traffic over here, you can see the August conversion rate was only 0.068. Okay, but when you exclude the suspicious segment, it's actually 0.188. Okay, so clearly something happened in August that was anomaly, and you can see. China and missing traffic source over here. We didn't have that. July, it went up a little bit. And then August, it went up to 62,000 from 6,500. So actually it jumped up a lot. 265 to 6,500 and to 62,000 over here. And we can see what this is. I'm like, okay, well, that's helpful to know. So again, if I want to do strategic work around recruiting, strategic work around marketing, for example, if I want to do strategic work around my health, I can trust that Hermes has the most context. And this is me using the Hermes desktop agent, but you can also use it on desktop. You can use it on your iMessage. So it's very flexible. You can use it on Telegram. You can use the Hermex app, which I think is great for mobile, great for iOS as well. You can also switch models quickly too. And so to me, Hermes has been very reliable. I was using OpenCLAW in the past, but Hermes to me has replaced OpenCLAW. If I had to pick one daily driver for today, It'd probably be GrokBot just because I'm using so many routines and it's been so reliable. Instinct, I love again for complex tasks. And then Muse has a lot of potential. I mean, the fact that I'm packaging my videos and I'm actually executing on these videos, it actually means I save a lot of money in terms of needing to wait for a strategist to give me stuff. And Muse is going to continue to compound its learnings with me and somebody else can then manage that. And then you have Hermes, which has a lot of context that can help me. From a business strategy standpoint, right? And it has the most connectors. What I would say is you ultimately are going to want something like a Grokbot has its own chief of staff bot that can manage all the bots in there, right? But you can also set it up where it can manage other harnesses. So it can manage your Codex, for example, like my ChatGPT, which I use to build. You can have it manage your other bots too, right? Because Codex actually has access to be able to do other things. That my Grok bot can't do. And so I would say the best, the most optimized way of playing this, the Meta way of playing this, the most optimized way, right? I'm not talking about the company, but the Meta right now is that you want to use as many of these autonomous agents as possible. And they all have their unique use cases, right? Again, Meta has access to data that the other ones wouldn't have access to. So you want to figure out how you can kind of take advantage of that, right? Instinct can do complex things that the other ones can't do. So every You know, ultimately there are no solutions, only trade-offs. And that's one of my favorite quotes. And so when you think about it, there's trade-offs to using each of these, but when you combine them together, you're gonna gain the most leverage for not only doing your personal work, but your business work. So if you enjoyed this today, let me know in the comments what else you'd like me to cover, and we'll see you in the next video.
