Here's the most unsexy but practical thing to do before your business goes bankrupt. This was generative AI website traffic share a year ago. This was gen AI traffic share 6 months ago, and this was 3 months ago, 1 month ago, and now today. So here's what I mean by this potentially bankrupting your business. The deal is all these platforms, they shift over time and you can see OpenAI used to be the king and then, you know, Gemini is rising and then, you know, Anthropic's, you know, taking a lot of the enterprise revenue. But also Google owns a ton of search share. But there's so many disparate platforms today. The main thing is that you have to play the everywhere game. And so you have to think about ranking ranking on all platforms. You have to make sure that you're keeping your content updated because when you look at these answer engines, they're looking at the last 10 to 12 months of data and 95% of the content that they're surfacing has been updated. The other thing to keep in mind is you have to make sure that you have, you know, key takeaways or different FAQs or different headings in there that make it easy for these answer engines to parse these things out so they can show up in things such as AI overviews. A lot of the old stuff with SEO is now new again when it comes to answer engine optimization. So listicles, guest blog posting, link building, all those things come into play. They still work very much in today's day and age. But also keep in mind that you got to play the everywhere game. You're looking at YouTube, you're looking at Reddit, you're looking at other sources that might pop up and down over time. So these platforms change over time. They shift very quickly, and that means your strategy needs to shift very quickly. If you're not adaptable, that's how your business ends up going bankrupt.
