If people are using ChatGPT instead of Google, how do I make sure that I actually show up in the response? Step 1, you want to stack proof. And what that means is you want to get cited in different reviews, different citations, so LLMs will pick you up as a trusted source. Step 2, you want to write for the AI answer boxes like Google's AI Overviews. That means you want to have a strong heading tag and 3 to 5 sentences that get to the point. Step 3, you want to make sure that you optimize not just for Google but for Bing as well, because the LLMs pull from both Bing and Google. So make sure you get Bing Webmaster Tools set up. And then step 4, you wanna make sure that you're optimizing for search everywhere optimization, meaning that you're posting natively for LinkedIn, for YouTube, for X, because search is all about all the platforms now, 'cause LLMs are picking up from everywhere. And number 5, make sure that you get people talking. Reddit matters more than ever today, but also having ask me anythings on LinkedIn or Discord, that's gonna help you get cited more and more, and you're gonna appear on the answer boxes.
