Eric Siu uses ChatGPT Voice during his 80-minute commute to manage marketing, sales, recruiting, and product work hands-free. He texts his dad, sends Slack messages, and controls apps like Hermes without touching his phone, turning dead time into productive work.
ChatGPT Voice is absolutely crazy. I was just on my way to see family today, and on my way driving, I had ChatGPT Voice open, and it is like Jarvis. I was asking it to do a few turns of work, whether it's on the marketing, the sales, the recruiting side of the business, the product side of the business. All these open threads that I had running, it just kept them moving forward, and it opened them into new threads, and it just kept moving the ball forward. Now, that's not the only thing. What I realized was that I was going to be a little late in terms of seeing my dad, and I had an instinct to take out my phone and then text my dad, right? And obviously that's pretty dangerous, but I didn't have to do that because my ChatGPT Voice is connected on my computer and it's connected to all the apps that I have. I just said, hey, can you actually just text my dad and tell him I'm going to be a little late? It said it texted and it verified that it sent a text in 5 minutes and verified that he responded. That he received it, and then we're good to go. Then I went right back to doing the work, and it was creating multiple threads, and it was thinking about which goals it should be using, which loops it should be using as well, and we kept moving the ball forward. And so my commute, by the way, is about 40 minutes going that way and 40 minutes coming back. Now that's 80 minutes now that I can just do work instead of having to listen to a podcast. So ChatGPT Voice, it's absolutely crazy, and it was actually managing my other harnesses too, like it was managing my Hermes. It was like, oh yeah, We actually have this work being done in Hermes right now. This is outstanding work right now. You should do this.
