This is a YouTube video titled "Copy These 5 \"Boring\" AI Automations — They Will Blow Up Your Business" (published 2025-12-11) featuring a single presenter giving a monologue-style talk aimed at founders/marketers. The presenter outlines five practical, revenue-driving AI automations they run: (1) a meeting note/idea extractor that rates and drafts social and long-form content (using Lindy), (2) an automated candidate sourcing/recruiting workflow (Juicebox and Lindy), (3) a daily priorities/robotic coaching system to boost team productivity, (4) social media comment-reply agents to scale engagement (Lindy), and (5) an email auto-drafting assistant (Superhuman). The speaker also mentions ClickFlow as an SEO/content tool and emphasizes that "boring" automations compound to produce outsized business impact. Everyone's building flashy AI agents, chatbots, AI assistants, voice clones. We're running 5 boring automations right now that generate millions in revenue, and most people ignore them because they're not sexy. Now look, I know what you're thinking— boring automations? How do those make money? I'm going to show you the 5 automations running in our business right now and how to set them up this week. Let's get into it. Automation number 1 is the compelling ideas note-taker. So think about this. When you're sitting in meetings, you're sitting in a lot of Google Meets. The best discussions you have are in your internal meetings. That's when you're the most passionate. That's when some of your best ideas come out. It's a shame that that content isn't being captured somewhere because you can republish that content. You can republish those insights over on LinkedIn, over on X. You can make a YouTube video from it. What we do from this compelling idea note-taker, it will listen in on calls. It will rate the virality of the top 3 ideas. 3 or 4 topics on a scale of 1 to 10 for each one. And then it'll write X posts, a LinkedIn post. It will write a short-form script for short-form video. It will also write a long-form script as well with packaging for the headline, for the thumbnail, for the opening hook. And so it'll do all of that. And it'll also look at my writing style and it'll figure out how I write in general. And then it'll give me the packaging based on that. So oftentimes, because I'm busy trying to operate my business, I don't have the time to think about this stuff. And so, for example, me coming in here to record in the studio today, I have ideas, topics, scripts that are ready. That makes my life a lot easier. And that's exactly what this compelling idea note-taker does. Here's how you actually set it up. Here's the boring solution here. We use a product called Lindy, and Lindy has a bot that will join our internal meetings. It'll record them. It'll extract compelling ideas, and it'll write them, write everything in my voice. What it'll do afterwards is it will dump the drafts into Google Sheets. It will also send me an email with the ideas as well. And at the end of each week, or maybe at the end of the meeting, I can pick the winners that I like. And then I will spend some time writing these myself, and then I I will post. But the large piece of the lifting, the strategic part, the thinking part, has been lifted off my shoulders. And I already did the thinking anyway, so why don't I just have that packaged and gift wrapped for me? So I'll give you an example here. I actually wasn't in this meeting. This is a meeting that I was supposed to be in. Some of my leaders were in that meeting. The phrase that was taken out here was, chaos doesn't happen when a leader leaves. The chaos was always there. The leader was just absorbing it. That felt good for me. I'm like, that's a pretty good tweet, right? The bot flagged that as a potential topic, and it became one of my highest performing posts. I never would have remembered that line because I'm jumping around and in that meeting I'm in the moment. I'm not thinking about it. That's the thing. The point about authenticity there, the content is authentic because it came from a real conversation. It wasn't manufactured at a desk. I didn't have to sit and think about it. The beauty of this all, zero extra time. The bot handles the boring part and you get authentic ideas that will convert way better. So from this bot alone, I'm getting 30 to 40 content ideas per month from these meetings alone. And what ends up happening is some of these posts will do well. They will drive organic reach, they'll drive email signups, and then some of these will drive leads as well. And when we talk to some of these leads on the calls, they'll say, hey, I looked at one of Eric's posts. These— I really enjoy the rawness of them. I enjoyed the authenticity of them. And this reach, these leads, they came from meetings that we were already having. All right. So that automation creates the content. Second automation will solve your biggest bottleneck, finding good people fast. Let's just talk about this. I mean, the quality people that you hire will shape the organization that you build. People shape everything. So if you hire bad people, you will shape a poo-poo organization. If you hire amazing people, you will have a great organization. I was going to say not poo-poo organization, but a great organization. Okay, but when you're looking to source candidates, it takes forever. You're manually searching on LinkedIn, you're writing personalized outreach, you're finding emails, you spend 10+ hours per role. And the worst part too is you find the people that you like and you send them one message. One DM is all you send. You've got to hire consistently if you want to grow. So the boring solution here is that I like to use a solution called Juicebox. And you can use Lindy to do this as well. You can find candidates with— for us, we look for people that have at least 2 promotions at 2 different agencies. We want them to have an average of 3 years of tenure. Their current tenure should be, you know, over 3 years or so. And I can do that within juicebox.ai. Okay, so they're not paying me to say this. Juicebox is amazing for this. It'll find a person's personal email and then you can put them in a sequence. So keep emailing these people. Maybe it'll email them, you know, the first day and then 7 days later and then another 14 days later, maybe another 21 days after that. And then what ends up happening is let's say they don't follow up with you. How about you keep circling back with them every 90 days or so? If these people follow your criteria, every 90 days you're hitting them up. Every 90 days, assuming they haven't responded. Every 90 days. Okay, because people are always looking for new opportunities and If you want to hire people from LATAM, you want to hire people from Europe, you can do this. The exact criteria that you're looking for when it comes to hiring, I haven't seen something better than Juicebox for this. Now, that being said, you can certainly build a genetic workflow using Lindy for this. That's actually worked out fairly decently for us. But if you want something that's more automated that will keep going for you, Juicebox is your answer. The results that we've gotten from Juicebox, I mean, roles that we were struggling to hire, we're talking about senior directors and things like that for my agency. We're getting these people and we're actually hiring these people. We're talking about best of the best people I would have never dreamed of being able to get before because our recruiting team focuses on this and This has lifted a large weight off their shoulders. And now, like, if you're able to build a very strong marketing engine and you have a good sales engine, the other problem you're going to have is recruiting. This, I think, is largely going to be solved for us by using something like this. Now, I mean, let's talk about some numbers here. So recruiting agencies typically will charge 20 to 30% of the first year salary. Let's say it's $100,000 a year for a hire, just for simple numbers. That's $20,000 to $30,000 in fees that you save. So if you want to hire 5 of these people, okay, that's what, $150,000 saved? Maybe if you're hiring some seniors, maybe you're saving $300,000, $500,000 a year In recruiting fees. The real impact though is the speed to hire an open role, the time to fill. This is what recruiters are judged on, time to fill. Okay. So typically you want someone in the role in 45 days or so. I don't think it's going to take that long anymore. 45 days for a really strong hire, assuming your hiring process is really buttoned up, you're going to be able to move a lot faster now, even for senior hires too. Senior hires might take 60 to 90 days in the past. Not so much the case anymore because I'm finding that when I'm talking to our recruiter, I'm like, whoa, our speed to talking to these people is faster than I've ever seen. What ends up happening now is your equation, your hiring equation changes. You don't hire on desperation anymore. You recruit constantly. So you're always building pipeline with these different agents, even when you're not actively hiring. So what ends up happening is you end up spending like a couple hundred dollars a month versus $30,000 to $50,000 a month plus on recruiters. The 3rd automation makes your team ship faster by eliminating the number one productivity killer. So any team has members who are busy but are not exactly productive and they're working on low leverage tasks and managers don't have visibility into these daily priorities. And what ends up happening is if you have a bunch of people that aren't being coached up on working on high leverage priorities, then your entire organization suffers. So let's say 20, 30% of your organization is working on lower leverage tasks. They're not thinking about their priorities every day, then that's drag on your organization. And hopefully it's not that high because that's really high. So what we do at our organization is we have people fill out the number one thing that they're working on today and the number one thing that they got done yesterday, any blockers, or the number one thing that the— like a trend that they're interested in, because that gives me ideas as a founder on what secular trends we should be looking into. As an example here, the founder of Nvidia, Jensen Huang, what ends up happening for him, or what he's done for a very long time, is people fill out the top 5, what they're working on right now, what's an interesting trend. This is about 10 years ago or so, but he found that a lot of people started writing about machine learning, machine learning, machine learning. So he'd read these, he'd be You know, having a drink or something like that. And he'd be reading these emails and he found that everyone's talking about machine learning. That actually was his impetus to push into AI. And so that's why these, these notes are very helpful. But going back to the priorities, okay, so if you're able to see what people are working on every day, that's helpful. But managers don't even have the time to look at this every single day. But if you have a robot coached up on your— how you think about prioritization, how your organization works, what your values are, and it coaches everyone every single day and it looks at their historical pattern over the last 30 days, over the last 60 days or so, and it's giving public feedback on how people are prioritizing On a scale of one to ten, because that's how we do things here. We do public feedback as long as it's helpful. What ends up happening is the productivity of your entire organization goes up. I kid you not. After a week of launching this, everyone's priorities got a lot stronger. They got a lot tighter, and that's how you want to run your organization. Because what's the point of working on low leverage tasks if you have an important mission that you're trying to accomplish? So the fourth automation scales you personally. It handles stuff you can't ignore but shouldn't be doing. So here's a very simple one: social media commenting agents. So YouTube comments pile up, LinkedIn comments pile up, but you can't reply manually, and. Engagement matters for algorithms. So if you ignore comments, it kills growth, it slows down growth. So what you can do is you can have Lindy monitor YouTube comments, LinkedIn comments, read the comment, transcribe the video, research context, writes the reply in your voice, and then it'll post a draft in Slack for you to approve. You can approve it. So imagine you have a bunch of approvals and you don't want it to look like a robot the whole way. You want it to write like you. And so you can train Lindy to do that. The beautiful thing about Lindy is you can literally dictate what you want it to build. It has an agent that will build for you and it'll stack all the workflows together and you can just keep messing around with it until it works. The Lindy CEO, Flo, he had had a LinkedIn post that got about 3,000 comments. He had an agent that handled all of it automatically, and that's how you can scale engagement. The revenue impact here was that he ended up driving a lot more pipeline from it, and he got a big algorithm boost because you can imagine from the 3,000 comments, 1,500 of them are replies, right? What ended up happening for him was that he didn't need to hire someone for $30,000, $40,000, $50,000, $60,000 a year. He had an automation that cost him a few dollars each month. Most AI writing tools were built by engineers who've never written a blog post in their lives. ClickFlow is entirely different. It's built by team of SEO marketers and learns your business inside out, delivering automated, scalable content that is optimized for search engines and reads like it was crafted by your own team. No more managing freelancers, no more babysitting briefs. Just press go and grow. So head to clickflow.com and get your first 25,000 words free. That's not a typo. 25,000. Go get them. Clickflow.com. The 5th automation is stupidly simple and it saves hours and hours. And speed is what wins deals. This is the email auto drafter agent. Let's imagine that for me at least, I get over 100 emails a day, sometimes hundreds. Most don't need to be addressed, and some are just simple replies like, yes, Tuesday works, here's the document. Takes 30 seconds. Like each email takes 30 seconds, but these are death by a thousand paper cuts, right? You don't want that to happen for you. So the boring solution here is that you have Superhuman, which is the AI tool that I use, my AI email tool, and it auto drafts every single reply. All you have to do is open the email, the draft is already there, you can hit edit if you want and just hit send. So this saves 20 to 30 seconds per email. So if you do the math out loud, that's 100 emails times 30 seconds equals 50 minutes saved daily. That's 4 hours per week over a year. That's 200 hours saved. That's 5 full work weeks back. So the revenue impact here is that your faster replies ultimately lead to better relationships. You respond in 10 minutes versus 2 hours. You close deals faster. Then the prospects notice, wow, you're responsive. Speed builds trust. Trust closes deals. None of these 5 automations are sexy on their own. Meeting notes, recruiting bots, standup messages, comment replies, email drafts. Boring infrastructure, but boring compounds. Flashy doesn't scale. Boring does. So that's it. These are the 5 boring automations that actually make us money.
