Are financial advisors useless? Well, just like I said a little bit earlier, I don't think they're completely useless, but I think they're really dependent on who's hiring them. So if you're hiring them just for investments, yes, I think they're useless. In what context would they be helpful? So if you have tax planning strategies that you need to implement or estate planning, maybe you're on the older side and you have to start planning for that. If you're trying to set up college plans for your kids, trying to maximize your 529 plan for your kids, retirement planning stuff, I think a financial advisor could really help you. It also depends on the person. Some people really want that reassurance from their financial advisor, right? And some people love doing it themselves. And so if you're not someone that loves to do it yourself, then yes, you might need a financial advisor for sure.
