You take the leap because there's a chance that will create a ton of happiness, this journey, right? You're investing in something that's gonna compound value over time. So that's the thing that's kind of kept me happy. I'm like a huge proponent of marriage these days. The big reason is because there was that very subtle hidden form of value that was compounding that I was never aware of, right? Like when you're only with a bunch of different girlfriends or partners for like a short period of time, you never have enough time to see it compound. It's kind of like trading too much and you lose and you end up losing a bunch of money. Whereas if you just fucking buy it, buy a really good ETF and sit on it for 10 years, you wake up one day and you're like, goddamn, this is like twice as good as it was 10 years ago. I'm twice as happy with this person as I was, and I didn't do anything. Like, I'm just here.
