The excerpt is an English monologue from a single speaker (labeled SPEAKER A) sharing 15–16 years of SEO experience and advising creators to focus on being genuinely useful to customers and content consumers rather than trying to game SEO with tricks or tools.
I used to think in SEO it's all about learning the newest tricks, the latest tactics, using the latest tools. And now, you know, we've been doing SEO for— I don't know how long you've been doing it, but I've been doing it for 15, 16 years or so. And at this point I'm just like, no, just be useful. So be useful to your customers, be useful to the people that are consuming your content. Because if you try to do all these things to game the system, it's not going to work that well, right?
