Getting Customers with AI Just Got Unfair

Eric Siu walks through a new AI workflow for finding B2B customers and sending cold emails at scale. He shows how to use AI agents to build email sequences, set up integrations with tools like Instantly and HubSpot, and launch campaigns while monitoring performance and costs.

I'm going to show you the new way of working with AI. Everyone's still working the old way right now. I'm literally going to screen share with you and show you the real work I'm doing. This is a video that I shared with my team. This is insider information that you're not going to get anywhere else. Let's get into it because this is going to change how you do things completely for your business and how you work forever. We have this B2B visitor ID to outbound spec. Okay, so anybody that visits our website, we want to identify them for Single Grain, for ClickFlow, for Karat, and then we want to send them the right email sequencing. And then that will live within these will be sequences that we have living inside of Instantly, which sends our cold emails for us. So this is a path to generate more leads from what we have. You can see this is 16 pages. And I've workshopped this with AI quite a bit. Now, the other thing is I've workshopped these email sequences as well. So, you know, anybody that visits Single Grain, you know, we're going to try to reach out to them and say, quick question for company. And then, are you exploring this? You know, basically we have all these sequences. Okay. We have some for agencies too, where we try to get them on Single Grain or LinkedIn ads, or sorry, Carrot for clients. We also have, let's see what else. I think we have Carrot, we have the agents as well. And so there's a whole bunch of things that we have here in terms of sequencing, because there's agencies that visit our websites as well. So we use our B2B to enrich them. And then from there, you know, we have a suppression list too. So for example, if they're already on our email list, or if they're in our HubSpot list, or if they're already in ActiveCampaign, or if they're already paying customers or in Mixpanel, we will basically suppress them. Like the key thing too is you're actually reviewing this as well and taking a look at it. And so what I would do now is say, okay, So inside of my Alfred, I can basically ask, just, I can paste all these things. So I can say, hey, I have the combined spec to manage how we go about reaching out to people that have visited our websites. Here are the 3 links. Please ask me any clarifying questions on what you need to move this forward. So we just do it like that. And literally I'm prompting it. Let me just get the links as well.
Let me just get the link over here. And let's do it over here. Okay. And then this one over here. All right.
So now we're just going to let it work. Okay. And inevitably this is going to get blocked. It's going to run into issues and that's where you have to keep prompting it. You have to keep going back and forth with it, but I'm also illustrating this is a new way of working. So I basically go back and forth with it. I create a plan and sometimes I have multiple documents and I try to combine them together. And then I just ask, ask me any clarifying questions so we can solidify the plan. And then we just continue to work on this. Now, the issue that I'm having right now is I have a lot of these threads open where there's a bunch of things I'm working on where, you know, I'm trying to make sure that Arrow is working correctly. for outbound sales. Cyborg is working correctly for outbound sales, you know, also handling this spec over here for our website visitors and how we go about reaching out to them. And then our unified dashboard, and then how we're going about Nextiva outbound as well, like adjusting the messaging there. So there's a lot of threads, and we, we should stay focused on Aero right now. At least that's what I'm focused on, because that's a very sellable agent. And so Nextiva right now, we already have a deal that's signed with them. We just need to continue to, you know, improve on the messaging, which I'll come back to in a second. But, you know, I want to see this built out for Single Grain. So because this is a spec that we can, we we can build out for other people. So here's what I need to move forward. Clear. Okay, clarifying questions. So like, by the way, you see me, I'm using Super Whisper, you can use Whisper Flow to answer these, but our B2B account status, the regional specs, we actually do have the pixel IDs, and the scripts are already living on the 3 websites. So our B2B is already set up, we are good to go there. Just let me know what else you need there. So I don't know if we need to use Zapier as a router. So you let me know there. I mean, we, if you can wire it all, that sounds good to me. And you let me know if you can build this all, or if this needs to be a cloud code build. And number 3, for sending accounts, the spec says We need separate domains, accounts from Arrow's cold outbound. We already have the accounts for this. And we just need to make sure that we make the campaigns and we can allocate some of the inboxes for this. And you can pick from the lists and we can go from there. And ideally, you know, I think we probably only need it. We're not going to be sending that many emails per day, I would imagine. So it's probably, you know, for each campaign is just one email account, maybe 2 at max. Sequences. So the calendar link right now, let's in those sequences, let's remove that. Just say if they're open to getting on a call, like we don't, let's, let's not include the links right now. So the sequences need to be adjusted and I'll review them instantly after you put them in. Keep in mind, you do have an Instantly API as well. Put them into the single grain Instantly API workspace. That's the one. And reply routing, single grain replies go to sales team. And then, I mean, to be honest, I think all of them go to the sales team and they can just respond via Instantly. And then we can use the unified inbox that they have. And that's, that's how we can deal with it. We can hook it instantly with HubSpot. That's, that's what we can do. Pixel installation is already done. So that is already on the websites. And the icebreaker variable, Doctor uses icebreaker. I think we should just drop it entirely. So let's, let's come, let's go with V3, no icebreaker, the less variables we have, the better. So you see how that works? Like you're just constantly talking with it. And that's how we want all the teams to be working with this stuff. So here it comes. By the way, like when we're planning to, it's really important to ask the clarifying question because oftentimes like the more context you can give it, the better result you're going to get.
Okay.
Got all, got it. All 7 answers locked in. Here's the plan. Our B2B live, no Zapier, sending accounts, calendar links removed, pixels, no icebreaker, what I'm building, Alfred, clear scope, no cursor needed.
Okay.
Before I start building, which Instinct accounts are available and not already out?
You can check using the Instantly API, but we want to avoid any accounts that have Alana in the— I would say for sequences that are for Carrot, use a Carrot, use an account containing Carrot. Same for ClickFlow, same for Single Grain. Cool. Will you build these in parallel or one after another?
Less than 10 minutes right now, this is already moving. And it did take some planning before, but the whole idea here is that we want people to be working like this, whether it's down to social media work or it's— we're talking about sales work over here, sales infrastructure work. Obviously, if it's talking to a customer, that's a different story. But only so much of our time is dedicated to talking to customers, right? What about the other time? How can we optimize all of that? So I'm going to let this work for a moment. Okay, so it was just working for about, I don't know, what is this, 11 minutes. Okay, so this stuff does work in the background. So spawning all subagents, you see it's working. Okay, we're doing suppression pipeline, RB2B hooking. Instantly campaigns. Okay, here's the instantly needed for number 3. Okay, it's doing all this stuff. So helpful for me to read this. And you can see just through natural language, it's building all this stuff. Amazing. All 5 campaigns are built. Our B2B, our B— I like how it labeled it without me having to tell it. And it shows the allocation and then 4 emails. So I'm going to review this in a second. Suppression pipeline built and tested. Personal email filter and review sequences instantly. Wire B2B, our B2B webhook URL to point at our handler. So I don't know what exactly what I need to do for that. So let me just ask because I don't know. Right. So if I get stuck, I don't know. Let's see. Hey, what do you mean by number 2? Should I just give you the webhook URL? Like, what do you need exactly? Can I just give it to you here? And when you say hook Instantly to HubSpot for reply sync, the HubSpot API key is accessible. What do you need exactly there? Can I just— are you saying I just need to integrate the 2 inside of the Instantly software, or what are you saying? So let me know what you need for number 2 and 3 specifically. So I just asked that. While I asked that and it answers me, I'm going to go and I'm going to move over here and I'm going to hit refresh. Let's see if these things were actually built because sometimes it lies.
Okay.
Okay. Boom. These are up. So I'm just going to take a look at I don't know, just one of them just to make sure it's okay. Let's go. I like how it has a date too.
That's cool.
If you want to grow your AEO and your SEO faster, you have to check out ClickFlow. ClickFlow will track your AEO rankings. Not only that, it'll produce high-quality, production-grade content. We've had a bunch of people come over from other content creation tools and other SEO tools, and they say they're replacing the publicly traded companies that are out there. So check it out. It's clickflow.com. Once again, it's clickflow.com, and there's a free 14-day trial that you can check out. Let's go over here and okay. SG Services. Let's go over there. That SG Services General ICP, click. And let's look at the sequences.
Okay.
It's hi, hi there. Okay, good. There's a fallback. So like if they don't, the first name's not there, just say hi there. We work with B2B companies in their market. I came across, I thought it might be worth a quick note. Okay. That's good. So you just, you just want to make sure that the custom variables are correct. The outreach looks correct and we're good to go. Okay. So that looks good to me. And by the way, you can actually preview this too. If you want to hit preview, you can do that.
So.
We can just go down the list, right? That looks good. And then I, maybe I want to spot check another one. So let's say this one over here, ClickFlow Agency.
Okay.
Yeah, this is good. So look, through me chatting, this is all built out. Okay. So I don't need to give me your— it's the reverse. I need our B2B to send it.
I don't think it was our webhook. We use Native Instantly.
They do have this.
Okay, great.
So I'm going to move over to our B2B now.
Okay.
So now we're going to hook in our Instantly right here. Set up integration. I need to provide the webhook URL.
Okay. Please provide your webhook URL.
And by the way, I actually don't know how to do this right now. I'm just going to click around. Now I'm going to go back. How do I get the Instantly webhook URL to point into the RB2B app? Because right now, like, the thing is, I don't want to wait. If I have to send this to developers, maybe this gets done in the next 2, 3 days or so when I can just do this myself. And that speeds things up quite a bit. So RB2B pushes data out to this Instantly, receives via API, not webhook URL.
Okay.
So what if I do this?
Okay, look, they have support documents here.
Okay. So finally, I think we're there now. So if you look at this, this did take some time to do, but obviously this would have taken weeks to get done probably. But all this back and forth over here, and I did get on another call in the meantime, and then I'm letting it work. But, you know, it starts to ask me to do all this manual work and I'm like, hey, can you just wait? Can you just do this all for me? And then it gives it— gives me its own solution. We test it and then we're good to go. Right. And so this, this workflow that I just showed you earlier, it's actually confirming. Okay. So activate.
Okay.
All campaigns are on monitoring. I'll watch the first 24 or 48 hours of data.
Okay. That sounds good. Okay.
All activated. Someone visits, identifies them. Okay, great. So connect instantly HubSpot and instantly settings. I think I already have that. So stuff like that matters, right? So I'm going to do this. Boom. And then maybe we connect HubSpot over here. Add new, connect existing account. And then we hit connect. Pop-up's coming. I'm going to just approve this.
Boom. Connecting.
I'm verified now.
That's fine. Whatever. I accept the risk.
Not whatever, but you get what I mean.
Okay.
So we're hooked in with HubSpot now. That is good. And I'm checking keep both on. Okay.
So Cool.
So what happens now is our B2B new contact comes in and then CRM will be plugged into our B2B HubSpot. And then instantly, once we will log email activity on the same contact. So these are both good. They complement each other. So now I'm going to be like, okay, write me a one-liner or maybe like 2 or 3 sentences on what we accomplished today here and inform the sales operations Slack channel on what we're able to do. And also I want you to separately write me a Google Doc with the overview of how this all works right now and any changelog that we have, any changes go into this document in the future, give me the link to that. Okay, boom, that, that's done. I'm gonna get all that. It's gonna send it to, you know, the Slack channel, and then I'm gonna get the Google Doc link. But I want you to all understand that this is how this stuff works today. Like, the stuff is here, the technology is here. I think we just have to be open-minded. We have to keep, you know, pushing ourselves every single day to, to do this. So let me know if you have any questions on this. Originally, this was a video to kind of illustrate what I'm working on, on blockers, but you can see I was able to unblock myself just doing this.
