Patrick Campbell, who sold ProfitWell, posted daily whiteboard videos for eight months with only 100-200 views each. Then one video hit 1 million views, followed by 11 million, and he grew to 150K subscribers. Consistency forced the algorithm to pay attention.

As long as you kept putting out content, the algorithms would eventually have to give reach. Patrick Campbell, he sold a company called ProfitWell for $200, $250 million or something like that. And he decided he wanted to get into content creation. He was posting these high-quality Shorts on YouTube Shorts. He would post on TikTok, Instagram Reels as well. But it would be like a whiteboard video where he's like opening up a whiteboard and he's talking about, hey, this happened in World War II and then this company became a billion-dollar company. So it was good storytelling, it was well-produced. He was spending a good chunk of money each month on it and he was posting every single day. The catch is this, he was getting like 100, 200 views. To put in that amount of time to not get anything. 1 month goes by, 2 months goes by, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 months go by before he gets anything. Then something starts to happen. YouTube starts to give him more play. And then now last video, 1 million views. His high point video was like 11 million views or so. And he's gone from basically 0 to 150K subscribers because he knew the game.
