Eric Siu cut his Claude API bill from $12,000 a month to under $30 by setting up a long-lived OAuth token and switching to Claude Max at $200/month. He ran a single terminal command to configure it and now spends roughly $0.87 a day instead of $400.

Here's how I cut my Claude API costs from $12,000 a month to almost nil. And so proof over here, look at this, $400 a day, that is $12,000 a month. That is absolutely insane. Stay till the end, 'cause I'm gonna show you how I cut it down to almost zero. And in case you wanted some proof, from $400 a day over to 87 cents a day. So all you have to do over here is create a long-lived 1-year OAuth token for Claude Code. You can even ask Claude how to do it, okay? And then you just run this inside of your terminal, this command, Claude setup token, and what will happen is you are now able to run it off that instead of API token costs. So I recommend having the $200 a month Claude subscription. That's the Claude Max one, and they're pretty generous with their token subsidies. And if you're worried about running out of usage, then you can also sign up for an OpenAI subscription if you wanna use ChatGPT 5.5. There's a lot more there. I'll probably talk about model hierarchies in another video, so check that out. But if you want more on AI business and marketing and you want access to our AI marketing skills repo with over 2,300 GitHub stars, just comment newsletter and I'll send it over to you. Okay.
