So when you look at someone's LinkedIn or their resume, have they stayed somewhere for a couple years? Ideally more than 3 years. Do they have a track record of getting things done at that company where they've been promoted ideally 2 times? The second thing is sending them a written prompt, because when you see how they think about critical questions and you see how they write, well, that's going to be a lot of the work that they're doing because it's a lot of communication. The other piece is reference checks. What you're looking for here is people that are very excited to talk about the person, and also if the people would rehire. You can generally get a quick vibe check within the first 5 minutes.
