How Businesses Can Get Ahead With AI Agents

Eric Siu outlines five steps for businesses to adopt AI agents: deploy autonomous agents like OpenClaw, start with user-friendly tools like Manus, experiment with Claude Cowork and connectors, apply agents to concrete tasks like automating podcast inquiries, and integrate them into team workflows like Slack.

All right, founders, so listen up. Right now, AI agents own about 5% of the market in terms of software, but by 2030, it's going to be 60%. And honestly, probably more based on how fast agents are moving right now. So these are the 5 things you need to do to get ahead. Number 1, you got to set up one of the Claws. I don't care if it's OpenClaw, I don't care if it's NemoClaw, you got to get set up with one of the Claws because they are autonomous agents that will help you do things to the maximum. And for number 2, if you are maybe a little hesitant to get into Claude, you can at least start off with using general agents such as Manus, or you can use general agents such as Perplexity Computer. Those are more user-friendly ways to get started with using these agents. And number 3, aside from the tools, you actually have to play with this stuff, right? So you can use Claude Cowork, and then you can have these connectors. So you can connect your calendar, you can connect your different tools that you're using, for example. You can just ask it to do things for you so you can get your feet wet. Alright, so number 4 is you actually start to have to— you're gonna have to apply it to business use cases. So as an example, we get inquiries for my podcast, Marketing School and Leveling Up, also my YouTube channel as well. And that's an inbox that I don't really want to have anybody deal with. And so I actually have my agent scan that inbox every single day and it responds to people to get podcast deals done. And it's not just a, we're not just talking about like a general workflow where it's just like, it gives a default response, like an autoresponder. It actually gives intelligent responses based on who the company is and what they're looking for. And number 5, last but not least, you want to plug your agents into your Slack channels if you're open to doing it. I actually have had my agents invade my Slack channel and work with my team. And my sales team has literally said that the value that my agents add saves about maybe 20 hours a week. And maybe the value of that is maybe $5,000 a month or so. So a lot of value can be added across the board if you take the scaffolding that you have and you let it compound across your organization. All right, so if you want more like this on AI, business, and marketing, just comment newsletter and I'll send you more.
