In this clip, we are going to talk about how you can be more like Apple, not the fruit apple, but the electronics, the hardware company Apple, also known as sometimes the number 1 or the number 2 most valuable company in the world. But before we continue, whatever platform you're on, don't forget to review, subscribe, share, whatever it is you're on. If you enjoy things on marketing and also on business and sometimes on personal growth as well. So let's talk about this. What does Apple do really well? Well, they do things that are remarkable. For example, recently they canceled their AirPower product. They canceled it because it doesn't fit their high expectations. And just to show you, they stand out because whenever they ship a product to you, it comes in really nice packaging. It's remarkable. It's not only just any packaging, it's beautiful packaging. It's stuff that you can't really bear throwing away just because it looks so good. Also, when you look at the products, I'm holding one right now. If you're watching on video, I'm holding an iPad Pro. It's really well engineered. It feels good. It looks good too. My phone looks— my friend convinced me. He's like, I had a case on my phone before. He's like, that's stupid. Why do you have a case? He's like, yeah, it's not made for that. Apple's made to have beautiful products. Why do you have a case? You have insurance for it too. I was like, oh, that makes sense. Because everything's so well, beautifully designed. This pencil as well. High quality pencil. Guess what? It's $130, okay? This thing right here, $1,000, $1,200, whatever it is exactly, but Here's the other thing. It's not only just really well designed, but the hardware lasts a long time too. I look at my iMac. I've had my iMac for 5 years and I still use it. I don't need to reformat it. It's not a pain in the butt to me and it's still a pleasure to use. It's still really fast. And I didn't— I actually didn't wanna upgrade to this iPad Pro. In another episode, I talk about why the iPad Pro is great for on the go, great for business. I've been using my Mac Pro for the last couple years and it's been great because it's fast. I get a lot of work done on it. I'm happy working on it. I used my iMac for a long time, my Mac Pro for a long time. We have MacBook Airs for a couple years here. This thing, the battery life is incredible. It's way better than my MacBook Pro. I can use this for 5 hours straight. I can watch videos, things like that. My battery will only drop to 70%. So everything about Apple, it's just, you have good quality, you have good packaging, everything's very meticulous. And they only focus on a couple of things that they're actually good at before they focus on extending their brand too much. So how can you be like Apple? Well, the first thing you can do is you can focus on quality. Second thing you can focus on is design as well. So again, looking at this pencil, also looking at the apps. Their app ecosystem is, they actually make a lot of money from their app ecosystem and that's where they're going in the future. So number 3 is knowing the right time to diversify because now they're going more into services. They have Apple News now. Apple Music has actually just beaten Spotify. And so they're doing a lot of different things, but they're doing them really well and they're just focusing on those areas. One of the struggles I faced when I was starting my business was trying to do too many different things at once. So one second is like, I have this magic website and then another second is like, oh, I have this, um, this IT website and then I have this self-help thing too. And then I'm trying to do it like, I'm just trying to do too many different things. But when you focus in one area, so let's say I focus on marketing, things get a lot easier. So my kind of word of caution to you is Apple stays focused around kind of technology and they do a really good job of it and they do a good job of serving people within their ecosystem. So, you know, Apple Music, things like that, right? So kind of if you're going to diversify, first get good at something and then diversify, but stay within that ecosystem. Otherwise you're going to find yourself struggling. Okay. The other thing too is when you do branding well, Like Apple, it's just an apple. Literally, there's like a little bite in the apple and that's it, right? And people, people just start talking about it more and more. And then when you have quality too, just Apple, Apple, Apple. I start to love it so much 'cause when you buy something, you're making a decision. It basically is, it's a status symbol, right? When you buy something, let's say you buy a car or whatever, it doesn't matter what car you buy. Let's say you buy a chair, it doesn't matter. Your status either goes up or down. What I mean by that is if you buy a nice car, your status goes up. But guess what? You're gonna have to go to your wife or your spouse or whatever and then justify what you just purchased, right? So then you have status there too. Your status goes down with your wife for buying that nice car because you're being stupid. Where am I going with this? So when you buy something like this, it makes you look good, but it also helps you work better too. So at the end of the day, people can't really, it's tough for people to make fun of you for having an Apple product 'cause it just works, okay? So make something quality, good design, it just works, focus in a certain area, and then you can be more like Apple. Then you can start to extend your brand like Apple, but again, don't venture too far. But that's how you go about brand extension. So those are just a couple things you can do. Let me know what you think. Apple does really well in the comments, um, and we can make another follow-up video on this as well. And don't forget to rate, review, and subscribe, and we will see you tomorrow. Bye.
