Eric Siu spent 10 years building Web2 businesses with two exits, then moved those skills to Web3. He built an NFT project called The Littles using the same fundamentals: hiring, culture, product-market fit, marketing. Most Web3 creators skip the business basics that actually matter.
something that I find incredibly fascinating is that so many different Web3 creators going specifically into the NFT space has very little Web2 experience running businesses. It's insane. Not to throw any shade, but being able to start an NFT project and to run one is really much like building a business. And for me, as much as I don't share with you guys, I haven't shared with you guys about my Web2 experience, I've been running different businesses for the last 10 years, 2 different exits. And even then, as I'm building The Littles, I find that there are so many difficulties and also similarities as running a business, from hiring to the culture to the value proposition, product-market fit, marketing as well. Like, these are all things that are skills and things that are deep in Web2 that can transfer back into Web3.
