I learned this from Jensen Huang, the CEO founder of NVIDIA. His reasoning is if someone makes a mistake, it's on your dime and it's on the company's dime. Why would you deprive other people of the learnings? Just be respectful with the feedback. You want to give that feedback openly. And we've done that, right? And let's say I make a mistake. We'll say, hey Eric, you know, we made a mistake here and it's okay. And you know, we paid for it as a company, but would you mind if I gave you some feedback here so we can do better? And so everyone's aware of a mistake we can avoid next time. If you could be respectful with this feedback, because it is, it is a pub— it is in public, right? And it's still probably jarring for people. But I do believe that if it's a learning You can disseminate it to multiple people at once. I think it's worth it. I think the payoff is worth it. And it does kind of set the tone too, that we're willing to speak up on these things and not let things fester. So you kind of get a 2-in-1 here. You're not letting things fester and, you know, you're setting the tone for the rest of the company in terms of creating an open culture where you can disagree or you can kind of call each other out. And sometimes I get called out, called out in public too.
