Eric Siu breaks down how conferences like YPO Global Business Summit generate multiple seven figures through speaking, sponsorships, and hosting side events. He layers in private dinners and AI meetups, then repeatedly sells to the same audience across different formats. His approach turned a 20-person room at 25 into headlining major summits.

One of my YPO friends, this one conference he goes to every year generates him multiple 7 figures. It's called the YPO Global Business Summit, where you can do business with each other. Events are top because you're building relationship with people and you could do multiple things when you go to the event. With a conference, you get like a 3-for-1 on one. You get to speak, you get to sponsor. You also get to throw little side events as well. You could also host your own. I'm hosting the YPO Global AI Summit, even though I said I would do no more events, but I am doing it because I'm also going to one of their side events as well, which is like 1,000 people, right? So that's all worth it for me. And next week I'm speaking at 2 conferences in New York. I'm going to throw a dinner with AI operators on Tuesday, so you can do that as well. So you could tie things to the things that you get invited to. And I would say, at least for me, when I first started speaking at things, 25 years old, I spoke to a room in front of 20 people. That was like— and I'm sure you started really small too.
