How to optimize AI for your business.

Eric Siu says companies need to adopt AI by 2030 or fall behind. He recommends hiring a chief AI officer to lead strategy, not write code, and experimenting with tools like ChatGPT, Bard, and Stable Diffusion.

End of this decade, you're either using AI to its fullest or you're out of business. I mean, it's that black and white. It's like, had you not used the internet or a telephone or electricity, right? And so what do I do? I have known nothing about computing. I don't know what a large language model is. Is it like a big dictionary or something, you know? Mm-hmm. And so I said, listen, every company can go out there and hire what I call a chief AI officer. And a chief AI officer isn't someone who's doing the coding for you, isn't someone who's building a large language model inside your organization. It's somebody who is keeping track of what's going on out there is reading and watching and seeing and understanding and then is whispering in the ear of the CEO or the executive team. It's an internal strategist in the AI realm and saying we should partner with them, we should use this, we should use that. At the end of the day, it's also equally important for your organization to play, to experiment, to try things, to get on Stable Diffusion and play with it, or everybody should be playing with ChatGPT or Bard.
