I Built 5 Agents in 30 Minutes to Save Me 20+ Hours of Work

Eric Siu built five AI agents in 30 minutes to automate his business workflows. A Coach agent sends daily accountability messages via Slack, a Qualifier agent handles lead outreach with a 20% response rate, and a Creator agent repurposes content to reach 3x more people on LinkedIn. The other agents handle follow-ups in HubSpot and meeting prep research.

I use AI agents to automate areas in every part of business, saving myself 20+ hours of work per week and counting. These agents include the Coach, an AI coach to help teams work on their highest leverage priorities. The Qualifier, a lead qualifier that qualifies leads and job applicants for me. The Creator, which is a content creator. You got the Closer, which is a follow-up agent that proactively goes into my CRM and replies to neglected leads for me. And the Prepper, which is a meeting prep agent that researches every person I meet with ahead of each meeting. Now, each of these plays a critical piece in my business because they save me a massive amount of time and money, and they help me make more money as well. And that time will continue to compound as I build more of these. Now let's dive into how I built this foundation of agents and how you can do the same for your business so you can grow faster. The first workflow I built is an AI coach that helps my team focus on their highest leverage tasks. This means my team's performance improved within the first week, even the first day that I launched this. And I'm gonna break down how it works. So the beauty now with these agentic workflows is that it allows you to do real work that matters, and it also allows you to create new work, work that you might have not done before because you just didn't have the manpower for it. And so we have an example here with the daily standup accountability bot where on recurring schedule every day at 2:00 PM Monday through Friday, we're gonna get the message from a, the messages from a Slack channel that we have. And then we have a prompt here that basically says, hey, you're an accountability coach. help coach these people up, our people up, setting higher leverage priorities and commenting on the 3 priorities that they worked on the day before. And basically this allows us to coach at scale and how we can create feedback loops and also ultimately just help people get better at scale so the company gets better at scale. So I'm gonna give you an example here. We did a daily accountability checkup. I'm just gonna give you the high level here. So here's what you did exactly. You know, didn't, didn't provide feedback to the founder and then gave constructive feedback, scored each person's priorities. I'm not gonna show each person, but I will just tell you that we have a leaderboard at the end of each month and you can see how consistent people have been and how they've scored in general. That's how you create these feedback loops. But you can also do this for coaching your sales calls or coaching your— how EOS internal meetings are run. So these are internal planning meetings, strategy meetings, all these things. Next, let's move to the qualifier. This is one of the highest leverage agents on my team because it actually replaces recruiters and it can be used for more than just recruitment, aka sales. This is how I'm using it for let's say recruitment or lead generation. And so from a recruiting standpoint, we want people who have at least 2 promotions at a role. And so Claygent will actually help you find these people, right? So you can see it's this little— it's wearing a hat over here. You can see the reasoning. Okay, does this person have 2 promotions? Okay, yeah, companies with 2 promotions, that's good. Okay, at least 2 promotions and confidence steps taken. So this looks good, right? So I can quickly remove the ones that aren't— that don't fit, and then I don't need to manually filter. You can even have your recruiters do this. And then what it also does too is for this recruitment outreach, it'll say, hey name, I saw that you were as 2x number 1 copywriter in Africa and the Middle East rankings over here. And congratulations, we're currently looking for someone to head up creative at Single Grain and Carrot. And you know, if you know of someone who might be interested, I'd love to connect. And so it personalizes the initial part of it and then it just says what we're looking for. And that makes it a lot easier because, okay, one, you're personalizing at scale. 2, you're also making sure that you're filtering at scale too. And imagine like the, even this video that I'm making right now, I can then share this with an AI and they could just follow this process. And then you're going to have constant lead flow coming in, constant recruiting lead flow coming in as well. And I can tell you that when we email these people, the response rate is about 20% or so, and that's amazing. The 3rd agent is the content creator. I've tried ghostwriters in the past, but those deals never worked out because their writing never actually matched my voice. I tried out GenSpark recently and it not only matched my voice, but it's actually 3x'd my reach on LinkedIn. Okay, so I love GenSpark. Here's what's cool. I just go into it and I say, hey, write me an X thread on this with a strong hook and rate the virality of it 1 through 10. And I just take one of my YouTube videos, it watches and understands the video over here. I I wonder what this is. Yeah, so it looks through all of this stuff, right? And then based on the video content, okay, here's the thread over here. Confession, I just spoke to 200+ marketers at a massive tech company, billions in revenue, and discovered something shocking about AI. 95% are using it, but they can't tell me how it's actually impacting their bottom line. This is the real AI crisis no one's talking about. This is a really good opener over here, and it's not formatted perfectly here, but you know, if you look at it, I'm like, oh, this is actually pretty good. Well, what if I give it some feedback here? So if I say make it a 10 out of 10 and format this for easier cut and pasting. So virality rating, I gave it an 8 out of 10 and said it told me what, what's holding from being a 9 or 10. So then here's a 10 out of 10, and it kind of goes overhyped, right? This will piss you off. You're being lied to. Here's the ugly truth. And, um, it tried formatting a little better. It's still not the best though. And, um, you know, why this is 10 out of 10. So I said, okay, but I said, hey, let's not make it as bombastic. So after spending, here's what it says. So anyway, all that to say is that it'll work with me here. And I would say that this has been better than the other AI social repurposing tools that I've tried in the past. And then I just use GenSpark Super Agents here. And I'm like, okay, now make me make this into a LinkedIn post. Here's how I transfer for my team's productivity and 40%, it kind of does it like that. I'm like, okay, well make it a 10 out of 10. I keep, I just keep saying that, right? And then it makes it a little better. It makes it a little more interesting. The formatting is at least a little easier to follow now, right? Make this in first person. I'm Eric Siu. And then it does it like this. So my point of showing you this is it's a huge time saver because I just want something 90 to 95% there and then I can edit it. Because the content, I'm going to be publishing the video content anyway. So the main piece of content is already done. And then I'm trying to make sure that I'm posting natively for each platform. So obviously X and LinkedIn are more text focused, but I have to make sure that the, you know, the text is as good as the video, if not better than the video. And so for me, first time ever, I feel like I can trust something to make good content for me, or at least get it there and just watch a video instead of me having to do it over time. Because I do believe that the founders should be the ones uploading to X and LinkedIn because it's, it's just hard to get your true voice out there. Right. And I will say that our reach has tripled on these posts, namely my LinkedIn posts, just by doing stuff like this. Next is the closer. This agent writes personalized messages to every stalled lead, turning lost opportunities into active conversations. Okay, so this is what the neglected leads agent looks like. This is a deal closer that can help you follow up with leads that you haven't been good about following up with. And our OpenAI to HubSpot MCP connector research that it found was that 1 in 5 leads, we're not getting back to them after a 30-day period, which means they're getting neglected very quickly. So This workflow allows us to see when a lead enters pipeline, can trigger follow-up emails based on the conversations that they had. And then we can reengage them. We can just keep it going for a long period of time. You can see we can, I'll just walk you through this workflow. Proposal was sent and original proposal email. They'll take a look for it. And then basically you can just keep it going. Search email history, query all call transcripts, refer to master prompt, wait 3 days, deal, check deal stage. Is it, if the deal hasn't moved, is it still nurturing? Can we, can we make sure, okay, we're going to search email history again, query all transcripts, and then we're going to send them another email and we're going to send them another email. We're just going to keep doing it over and over and over. And it's going to look through your email histories to make sure it's not repeating the same thing. Ideally, what you'd also do here is you would add in the ability to take a look at what they're talking about on their LinkedIn or what they're talking about on X and then personalize it accordingly. And you should be able to do that, right? And then you just keep it going. You keep it going. You keep it going until they basically tell you to go away. And that's how you win deals because the fortune is in the follow-up. Here's the problem with most marketing agencies. They don't understand what is happening with the world of AI. With my agency, Single Grain, we think about agentic workflows. We think about creating agents for the future. When we think about SEO, we think about creating different products such as internal linking products or content consolidation products. And on the other side of things, we think about building products such as Care. We just think about making marketing easier overall. If you want to stay at the cutting edge of marketing and at the same time leverage the power of AI, go to singlegrain.com and we'll see you on the other side. And last but not least, you've got the Prepper. This agent will run deep prep for you ahead of a meeting, researching the participants their companies, and early ideas for how we can solve those problems. I just gave it a prompt here. I said, I'm about to meet Sam Altman and OpenAI needs help with paid media. Please help me figure out a mind-blowing marketing strategy that will help them and help me be the most prepared for this upcoming meeting. So you can see it cited 48 sources here, spent about 9 minutes doing research, and you can see all the sources here. You can see different assets as well, all the assets that it created. You can see market share, key strengths, all these things. What, what, look, look, look at this. Wow. Okay. $4 billion in revenue, then $11.6, $18.5, $22. You can see OpenAI's revenue projections and all these things over here, right? And the meeting agenda, OpenAI paid marketing discussion, blah, blah, blah. And then what is this over here? OpenAI paid media opportunities. So I'm actually keen to take a look at this. What does this even mean? So investment required. What is expected ROI as well? I think this probably needs to be defined a little more, but investment required. What is this? $40 million, $42 million, $45 million, something like that. AI companion. I don't even know what this means over here, but it If you take a deeper look, if we look at the analysis, I'm sure a lot of it will make more sense. And I guarantee you, if you actually shared this analysis or maybe downloaded it, exported it as a PDF and you put it into— and I'm actually, I might actually do this. I might make it a PDF and dump it into O3 Pro to ask it to do further analysis here because O3 Pro is one of OpenAI's best reasoning models, at least for right now. I might do that and have it do even deeper research, right? So I actually just downloaded it right now. Look at what it says over here. OpenAI stands at a transformative moment where strategic paid media can unlock a $25 billion advertising opportunity by 2024. Yeah. Fundamentally reshaping the company's business model with 96%. Okay. So in this case, I think it interpreted me as not doing paid media for them, but, but helping them transition into paid media. Right. So you can show ad revenue kind of just compounding over here and then subscription revenue over here. And it'll add in like a, like a new revenue source over here. So this is actually, this is smart. And I actually think this is a bigger opportunity in terms of instead of us just helping them with paid media. Right. And you can see how it's transitioning over time, but this is really good research that took about 9 minutes to do. And keep in mind, this is only gonna get better over time. That's it for this video. Now that you've seen the power of these AI agents, imagine how much time and energy you could save by building your own workflows.
