Eric Siu breaks down whether $25,000–$50,000 mastermind programs are worth it. His alternative: gather 8–10 entrepreneurs, meet once yearly, rotate who runs it, and split costs. You get the accountability and friendships without the premium fee.
A lot of people have said it's pretty stupid to pay, you know, $25 grand or $50 grand for a mastermind. But once you learn something like that, it pays for it, right? If you go to a mastermind, you find a group of people you like within that mastermind, just form a little retreat of like 8 to 10 people or so. Maybe you can have like a core group and then just meet like once a year. You guys can rotate responsibilities and everyone just pays cost and you don't have to pay like $25 grand or $30 grand. Just pay cost and it ends up being really cool and you end up building lifelong friendships. So why would you not do that?
