Here's what to do if you were just laid off and how to think about it for the long term. So first and foremost, layoffs aren't always necessarily a bad thing. Long term, they actually end up being a blessing in disguise. It was the same thing for me when I've been laid off in the past. So number one, to preempt any anxiety in the future, always have 6 months of personal expenses in the bank so you don't have to worry about situations like this in the future. Number 2 is to reskill. Let's say you are working somewhere as a waitress. There's nothing wrong with that, but if you wanna reskill and make more money for the long term and be indispensable, look at jobs such as digital marketing, development, Those jobs will always be in demand. Number three is to think about working somewhere for free, and then at the end of that negotiating some type of deal where you get to work full time somewhere. And that's always worked out for me in the past. And then last but not least, constantly upgrade your mindset. Read a lot. Talk to other people. Level yourself up during this period, and you will be fine.
