Eric Siu argues that audience and media equity matter more than your core business. He points to MrBeast and Logan Paul as examples, then breaks down four forms of leverage: code, capital, media, and labor. AI may kill jobs, but brand and content creation stay durable.
Your attention is more valuable than your main business. When you look at MrBeast or you look at Logan Paul, it's audience first and then business. I don't look at my main business as an ad agency. I look at it as a marketing company. So the media to me is more important. If we're like, oh, well, AI is going to destroy a lot of jobs. What can't be destroyed is your brand equity. It's like, oh, what are the 4 forms of leverage? Code, capital, media, and labor. Media is what we should all be aiming for here. Honestly, we should just focus on content creation. That is the business.
