Eric Siu explains how he replaced six employees with AI using a three-step process: train AI on past decisions and meeting notes, build role-specific agents connected to Slack and CRM tools, and audit high-volume tasks to find automation opportunities.

I used AI to replace 6 employees, including myself. Here's exactly how I did it. Step 1, you want to replace yourself by training AI on your decisions. So for example, all the internal meeting notes that you've had, all the decisions that you made, all the internal processes that you've had. The more context you can feed the AI, the better it's going to be. A lot of the things that you do in life, most of the things I would say are pattern recognition, and AI is exceptional when it comes to pattern recognition. Step number 2 is you want to build AI agents for each function. You want to start with the highest volume tasks and use tools like Claude Code to create one dedicated agent per role. You can feed each agent your past SOPs on sales, past examples of sales calls that were good, the bad ones, and connect them to tools like Slack, CRM, and Google Drive so they can execute end to end. And then step 3, you want to audit every repeated task across your team. Go talk to people that are on your team, people that you work with. Just ask them what are the most annoying parts of their day? What are the things that they're doing over and over and over? And then think about how you can solve the problem with them. And you're going to find that 60 to 70% of the work is repeatable. And ultimately this will become part of your automations and part of your daily AI workflow.
