If you talk to my dad these days, he's got a scarcity mindset towards money and he tries to save every single dollar. Even to this day, he still doesn't want to spend $20 on lunch. He'd rather just make it at home or eat something frozen. It's the mentality that got him out of poverty. I'm trying to break out of that mentality a little bit because I think you need to have more of an abundant mentality to basically take on more risk, especially financially, and also make more money eventually.
