The way the relationship started is Chris, the founder, reached out to me because he was leaning into this incredible growth, recognized he needed to bring different leaders and advisors around him. And I was in this advising mentoring phase after I'd left Focus Brands. And so I had several businesses that I advised or was sitting on boards and was investing in. And he reached out and we chatted and it was clear that his needs met my interests. And so I agreed to become an advisor and it started out as a Very typical growth company advisory role, but still heavily involved talking with the founder CEO once a week. And then it became multiple times a week. And before I knew it, I had moved from like, no, this is the portfolio chapter of my career. Why would I be all in on one thing? To why would I not do this? The economics are amazing. The mission is aligned with my values. The founder is the real deal.
