Here's how you can easily upgrade your hotel room to a suite without breaking the bank. First, you need to apply to either the Amex program or a program like the Marriott Bonvoy program where they will upgrade you to the next tier when you arrive if there is room availability. And what you do is you look for the 2 rooms that are within your price range that have the biggest gap. So for example, we are looking at the Wynn Vegas here and you can see this room is $594, the next one's $636. So that is the price gap. And if you scroll down a little more, you can see that there's a larger price gap here from $636 to $1,020. And so what What you would do is you would book the $636 and then you'd automatically get upgraded to this suite over here. Now, that's not all. When you arrive to the hotel, you ask if they have any further upgrades available so you can go for a second upgrade. That way you can basically negotiate the price and you might even get a room that's $3,000 to $4,000 a night for the original price that you paid, which might be $636.
