Okay, so in this video, let's talk about 6 ways that you can rank in Google for 2019 and beyond. So, look, Google's not gonna give you much information about ranking high in Google, so I might as well give you the information anyway. You can check how we do on SEMrush and Ahrefs, check our website. And by the way, if you like videos like this, don't forget to subscribe. Don't forget to also hit the little bell button too if you like business stuff, if you like marketing stuff. So, way number 1 is up here. Brand, okay, so what does that mean exactly? So Eric Schmidt, former CEO of Google, once said that the internet is a cesspool, right? It's really the brands that are gonna rise to the top. If you think about it, if you're a brand like Amazon, if you're a brand like IKEA, if you're a brand like Coca-Cola, a lot of people are already gonna know who you are, they're gonna be searching for your brand all the time, so Google has that data already. And also these brands, they're already getting a lot of links going to their site already, so the 2 things that matter the most when it comes to Google, right? Content and links. So if you can take care of the brand portion, you're gonna get the links, right? You just gotta take care of the content portion. A lot of things become much easier once you become a brand in the eyes of Google. So brand is one of the things, if you can think about building your company brand, even your personal brand as well, you are gonna have an easier time in terms of ranking highly in Google. So way number 2 is SERP control. What do I mean by that? SERP means search engine result page. So on the search engine result pages, if you can actually end up buying the top 10 results, like one of my friends runs a company, I'm not gonna reveal who it is, but he just, I met him at a conference the other day, and he was like, oh, I just bought all the competitors. I'm just buying all of them right now. I'm buying all the plugins, I'm buying this, I'm buying that. I'm just making sure I own all the real estate for specific keywords out there. So if you know that you have a money keyword, let's say you sell basketball shoes, you wanna rank for all the main basketball shoe terms in Google, guess who's gonna make all the money for basketball shoes? Number 3 is bounce rate. So bounce rate, think about it this way. Most of you are using Google Analytics. Guess what? You're now in Google's ecosystem. And if you don't think they can see your bounce rate, then you are mistaken. Because, well, what happens is if people visit and they bounce quickly, that's a negative signal, right? They might get what they need already, they might bounce, but in Google's eyes, if they keep seeing the same signal over and over from different pages on your site, you have a high bounce rate, that means you're not delivering a good user experience. You gotta think about delivering a good user experience, whether it's good content, a fast website, a nice design, a nice user interface. All that stuff all factors into your bounce rate, all right? So number 4 is CTR, or your click-through rate. CTR is basically if you go to a SERP, search engine result page, again, if you go to Google, and you have a page that says red shoes, and then you have another page that says red shoes, best reviewed for 2019, top price, right? What are you more likely to click? Most people are probably gonna click the second one. So what you're doing here is you are making sure that you have a title or a meta description that has a higher click-through rate. So when you do that, guess what? You're sending a positive signal to Google. And by the way, Google has lightly said that the CTR is a factor, right? But they didn't say like, oh yeah, it's blatantly like a thing. They're like, yeah, you know, we take many things into consideration, right? But SEOs have seen data in the past that says CTRs do influence ranking. And when, that's why we basically, we created a tool for SEO A/B testing called ClickFlow. You can go to clickflow.com, that is our software. And we are targeting people that are going to make maybe 6 or 7 figures, maybe even 8 figures more just by fixing their click-through rate. That's gonna help them make more money, but also it is a signal to help you rank higher. So think about your click-through rate, think about how you can write better, titles and meta descriptions. All right, so speed. Site speed is really important. If you look at Google PageSpeed Insights, if your site's taking too long to load, you gotta check on a 3G connection too. If it's taking too long to load, that means most people that aren't on a Wi-Fi connection, they can't see your site, it's not rendering quickly enough, and they're leaving. And guess what? They're bouncing. And when your site's slower, that also is something that affects your rankings. It is something that affects SEO at the end of the day. All right. Number 6, this is something we probably need to do another video on, but this is called the keyword gap, all right? So, if you think about the pages that you have on your site, let's say they're driving traffic already, a lot of your pages are ranking for keywords, or they are ranking for keywords, you can see in your Google Analytics, you can look at your Google Search Console to be a little more specific, and you can use ClickFlow as well, and you can look at pages that are ranking for keywords where you actually don't have the keyword on that page. So, the objective here is to take those keywords and then add them to the page, and that way you're gonna rank for more keywords. 'Cause, what are, again, content and links, those are the 2 things that matter when it comes to SEO. So you have to add, go back, and make the most of the content you have already. People forget to upgrade their content, people forget to add those keywords to the page, and they just keep doing the same thing over and over. And you have to kind of remind your team from time to time too that you gotta, this is the stuff that really helps you drive results at the end of the day.
