AI can draft top-of-funnel content fast, but humans need to fact-check, add links and citations, and verify everything before publishing. Save your best writers for middle and bottom-funnel pieces that actually move rankings.

You can use AI writers, but it's still very helpful to have humans serve as the last mile in terms of fact-checking a piece of content, upgrading a piece of content, adding links, adding citations, adding different examples, adding images and things like that. It makes a lot of sense to have a human being there. The lower you go in the funnel, the more it makes sense to have the human beings at the bottom, and then maybe some humans in the middle of it for the stuff that's actually ranking, and then you use AI content for top of the funnel, at least in today's standards. This could all change in 3 months or so given the speed of the AI news cycle.
