The excerpt is a short monologue by a single speaker (labelled SPEAKER A) reflecting on traits of successful people — emphasizing very high personal standards, the idea of “lead by example” (noting AppSumo’s value), working with A-players, and avoiding complaints about being busy. It reads as advice/reflection rather than a multi-person dialogue.

I was really annoyed over the weekend and I tweeted something about how like A-players don't complain about how busy they are or how overwhelmed they are. That kind of goes hand in hand with like having those high standards because it's like you want to work with the best of the best. That's how you grow. I generally think the most successful people have the highest standards. This is what I've observed. They have high standards of themselves. And one of the AppSumo values is lead by example. So, you want to have a high standard, how high is your own standard?
