Eric Siu argues Asian founders often sabotage each other instead of building solidarity like other communities do. He calls out the "crabs in a bucket" mentality holding back Asian entrepreneurs and pushes for more mutual support among founders.
Let's say we're both Mexican, for example, right? Sure. Someone comes after you, like, you're going to help me, right? Same thing, like, if we're both Black or whatever. But like Asians, there's like this weird crabs in a bucket mentality where sometimes we're just trying to like pull each other back into the bucket. I just would like to see Asian founders support each other more.
