Creators often sacrifice long-term reputation for quick views, but real brands are built by playing the long game. Patience and consistency matter more than short-term attention if you want to outlast competitors.

People will sacrifice their reputation in the short term to get views, and then long term they are harming the building of a brand, or at least building the wrong brand, not the one they want. And I think that a lot of people think they want views because they don't understand what brand is. And I think brand is playing the long game, which is being okay with getting less views in the short term, knowing that you will outlast everybody else because you will have the brand you want in the long term. Does that make sense? Yep, makes a lot of sense.
