Every Westerner should know what the Bible says, whether they're religious or not. And this is something I really changed my mind on. I was like, why would I go read something like that? No, this is like some old book that's in a hotel room. Okay, I get that that worked for my great-great-great-grandma. Oh, it's a super bigoted book. Okay, I get that. I thought all those things. But the reason I changed my mind is because it is the mortar in the brick of Western civilization. It is the thing that binds so much together, from our politics to our rule of law, to our art, to our culture, to the way that we do business. If you know what the Bible says, you can almost pierce through Western civilization as if you're seeing through the Matrix or actually have X-ray vision into what's going on.
