Why now is the best time to double down? When things hurt, it's okay for them to hurt more. It's never a good feeling, but that's typically when you get the best deals. You're typically buying when there's very little competition. Private equity is not buying right now because there's too much uncertainty. Venture capital dollars are drying up right now. They have access to funds, they're just not investing because there's too much uncertainty. And large corporations, their stock prices are getting hit like crazy, so the last thing they want to do is spend a ton of money during uncertain times.
