The interview process gets hard. It's like weird dating, right? You're sitting there and you're like, instead of dating for a year, we're trying to like figure out if we're going to marry within a month. Referrals are really important, but referrals can be terrible, especially if they're not blind referrals. Even with that, I like to put them through a challenge. And what would be an example of a challenge? Like for a salesperson, it's pretty easy. Come in and pitch something. Engineering challenges are easy. Like have them work for a day with you. You're paying them for that? Typically depends on what it is.
