Why the Public Can’t Access Anthropic’s Newest AI

Anthropic's Mythos model can find and exploit zero-day vulnerabilities in major operating systems and browsers, so the company is keeping it private. Only enterprise partners like Apple, Microsoft, Google, and JP Morgan have early access through Project Glasswing.

So Anthropic just came out with a brand new AI, their new frontier model Mythos, that they've deemed too dangerous to release to the public. I'm going to talk about the implications for personal life and for business as well, so stay to the end. Okay, so why are they actually hiding this model from the public right now, or only giving private companies access to it? So take a look at this: the significance of Mythos Preview for cybersecurity. So during our testing, we found that Mythos Preview is capable of identifying and then exploiting zero-day vulnerabilities in every major operating system. in every major browser when the user directed it to do so, right? So the vulnerabilities it finds are often subtle or difficult to detect. Many of them are 10 or 20 years old, but with the oldest one that is now a patched 27-year-old bug in OpenBSD, an operating system primarily known for its security. So it's cracking all these supposedly stable operating systems, okay? And they're not stable. So the exploit it constructs are not just run-of-the-mill smashing exploits, though as we'll show, it can do those too. So if you look at this over here, you can see with Sonnet 4.6 and Opus 4.6, which is the most powerful model, at least as of this recording, and then Mythos now, the percentage of trial model, trials model generated a successful exploit, 72.4%. And then percentage of trial models achieved register control. Okay, so 11.6%. So this is huge. I mean, look at this over here. Look how much this model can do versus these other ones over here. And keep in mind, these are only going to get stronger over time. So it's understandable why they can't just release this to the public right now, because everyone will be exploiting the internet, and that's not something that they want people to do. Okay, so let's talk about the companies it gave access to— Anthropic gave access to for this model. So Apple, Microsoft, Google, JP Morgan, some of the biggest companies in the world, right? They're talking about this thing called Project Glasswing. So Project Glasswing is— it's an early access program, and these companies are using Mythos. They're using it to scan their own code for security flaws. I mean, these are multi-trillion-dollar companies in some cases, and they serve— we're talking millions and millions of customers, right? So it's Good for them to make sure that they're testing it to see how it helps them. And then the cool thing is with this model, it basically you can deploy it to fight security risk. You can have these Mythos bots fighting off these security exploit bots to protect the company. And I think we're going to have to have a lot more of this because these models are becoming so powerful. So I think it's good that they're testing these initially with these some of the biggest companies in the world, and then only when they have the right guardrails to release this to the public, they'll do so. Right? But obviously there's a lot of bad actors in the world. So CrowdStrike, which is a security company publicly traded, their founding partner, and they're using it defensively before attack. Hackers get AI— can get AI this good, right? So that's a good thing. And in some cases, you want to have some security rails in mind to make sure that the world just doesn't go crazy with all this, right? So when it comes to software engineering and reasoning benchmarks, these are kind of the gold standard when it comes to measuring these models. So when we look at the SWE Bench Verified test, it scored a 93.9%, which Opus 4.6 was 80.8%. So that's significantly higher, right? And there's a couple of these other ones over here. Humanity's Last Exam— these are the top model scores, okay? Approximate April 2026. Again, this is— this highlights a 50% accuracy threshold to approach expert-level AI, with top models still showing high calibration errors, indicating significant potential for hallucinations. So you see Gemini 3.1, 44.7%, and you've got ChatGPT 5.4 High, 41.6%, and Opus 4.6 Thinking, 34.4% to 36.7%. Now with the Anthropic version, it's 64.7%. Okay, I think that's what I said, 64.7%. So it's understandable how these are too powerful to be released to the public Right now. And Mythos is a model that makes a lot of sense for, I mean, businesses like mine. So SingleBrain, for example, we make custom revenue agents for people. And our customers, they want to be able to talk to these agents within Slack, query whatever information, and also have the bots strategize and execute on it. And that's literally happening within our Slack instance, how we're piloting right now. And by the way, if you're interested in SingleBrain, just go to singlebrain.com with a B, check it out, and we'll see you inside. Alright, so we're now entering a world where AI fights AI in cybersecurity. And what does that actually mean for businesses, right? So the cool thing is with Mythos, it's, it's really good at vibe coding. It's good at understanding the vibe of what you're looking for. So maybe you're looking to design a brand new website, maybe you are looking to build a new web app, a new mobile app, whatever it is exactly, it's really good at that and it scores highly for that. So in general, what this means is that if Mythos is good with high-end vibe coding, that means it's able to generate, refactor code, and debug code at a much higher level. So you're able to get what you want a lot faster. So whether you're building a business from scratch or whether you are cranking out new landing pages, whether you are cranking out new widgets or new lead magnets, for example, these things can all be done a lot faster. That's what it comes down to. And the other cool thing is we're talking about automated code analysis too. So what you can do is you can scan large complex code bases, you can use it to find all these bugs and inefficiencies that you couldn't find before. So all these security vulnerabilities that it's finding right now, I mean, that type of concept you can just apply over to look at your entire code base and just making it a lot stronger, a lot more resilient to outside attackers, a better user experience in general too. And I think what I'm most excited about— so earlier I talked about Single Brain— is automating complex business workflows. So a business is just comprised of a bunch of workflows, and every task that you do that repeat over and over, the more complex the workflow that you can automate, the more you can have humans handle human jobs, and you can have robots handle robot jobs. And robots are increasingly taking more and more of these workflows that humans shouldn't be doing in the first place. Humans should be focused on higher leverage work, just managing the work that the agents are doing in terms of reviewing the agents, right? And that makes work a lot more fun. One final thing I want to add to— so if we're talking about automating complex business workflows, this means end-to-end task management where you ask it to do something, it just does all the work, and then it has the The work for you to review at the end. A lot of AI stuff right now is not exactly end-to-end. People are talking about how they they have these agents or whatever, and but they still need to go back and forth with it. It's not a predictable workflow. With something like a Mythos, it's going to make it a lot easier to have these create these end-to-end workflows. Also, what I mentioned earlier, if you can make end-to-end workflows, you can bet that it's pretty smart—a smarter and smarter thought partner when it comes to just doing things. So let's put the tech aside for a moment. Let's just think about this: Is this the smartest go-to-market strategy right now with Claude? So Claude has been releasing a lot of things at lightning speed. So just today, they just launched manage agents. They're just launching things left and right. There's Dispatch, there's Scheduling, there's Loops, there's UltraPlan. They're constantly launching things left and right. It's at a pretty blistering speed. But in this case, they're going for exclusivity, right? So they're showing all the benchmarks right now that they're crushing everyone else with these benchmarks. They're saying it's too dangerous to release. That's generating a ton of headlines right now, too. The fact that it's going to the biggest companies in the world, like that's going to cause an uproar as well. So whether it's intentional or not, I think the opposite of freemium and saying you're going to be able to access it or you're just saying all users can access this right now, I think it's pretty interesting because it's going to get more and more of these enterprise who want to buy in and say, well, you know, if Google can get it, if Microsoft can get it, us, you know, we're a company, maybe, you know, this company does a couple hundred million dollars a year, we want access, like whether we like it or not, right? Charlie Munger has said this, it's not really greed that drives the world. It's envy, right? So if other companies have it, and you don't have it, you're envious of them, and you want to have this. So I think intentional or not, I think it's a genius marketing strategy. If you want to triple your pipeline, double your revenues without having to cut headcount, you have to check out the revenue agents from SingleBrain. That's singlebrain.com. And within these agents, they'll chat with you, They'll do data pulls for you, they'll strategize for you, they'll even handle outbound for you, they'll handle the sequences, they'll handle everything end to end. seagullbrain.com, and we'll see you over there. So if you're a founder or a business operator and you're thinking about how you can make use of this right now, I would say look at your business, think about all the annoying workflows that, that are complex that you can automate. Okay, I would document all it, I will Loom all of it because eventually Mythos is going to become available to you. I would also say that having AI agents autonomously find and fix security flaws, that's good. You're going to give it access to your codebase, right? So that, that's coming. I would also say that the companies that need this right now. So we're talking about they need AI security tooling, they need AI security services, they need auditing, compliance, all these things. That's going to continue to grow because we're going to be using a lot more tokens. There's a concept known as Jevons' paradox, meaning that the more a technology becomes available, the more it gets used. And so usage is going to just skyrocket, which means there's going to be more and more security vulnerabilities. So if you want to play in this space, you can play in this space. If you're not thinking about AI defense right now for your business, you should probably start thinking about it right now, because if this model is that powerful and we're only in 2026 right now, just think about how much more powerful this stuff is going to be in the next 4 years or so. So if you like this video, you should check out this next one over here, somewhere over here, on how AI subscriptions are completely changing the world.
