Eric Siu argues for starting with ABM instead of broader B2B. The ABM market is worth roughly $2 billion, large enough to build a real business, while some competitors only do a few hundred million. Focusing on ABM first makes strategic sense because the TAM is substantial.
How big do you think the B2B industry is overall? Just general B2B? General, just super general broad. I don't know how many trillions, but it's well into the trillions. $20 trillion. Yeah. And how big do you think the ABM industry is for software? For software? $2 billion a year, $3 billion? Exactly. So about $2 billion, right? You know, for us it's like, okay, well let's attack ABM first. Let's nail that. 'Cause there are some players doing a couple hundred million in ABM. Then we can always expand if we want to later. It's a big enough market. And I think the TAM thing can't be overstated enough because it does matter a lot.
