Hello, hello. Thanks for joining me today. Sorry, I'm a little bit late. I will get into that in a minute, but the thing that we are going to talk about today is strategies, coping strategies during your cycle. And the part of the cycle that we're going to focus on today is the 2-week wait, the crazy-making part of our cycle when we have no control, um, is what we think. We have a little control and all we can do, all we're left to do is sit back and wait, which if you're like me, which probably might be, you're not very patient in that timing. So what can we do during the 2-week wait? What are some strategies so that you feel better mentally, um, more in control, and we can make it a I don't know, maybe like a little bit of a productive time. I came up with a packet, a little printout of what I like to call Triumph While Waiting strategies. Okay, so what we're gonna do is we're gonna focus on what we can control instead of just throwing our hands up and saying, there's nothing else that I can do, What you do during that 2-week waiting period makes a ton of difference in your reproductive cycle. Okay? It amounts for 50% of the time that we spend in our cycle. So sure, it matters, and the things that you do matter. So I put together a packet, and part of the reason that I'm late is because I tried to print it out to show you what it looked like, but I only got one page. Oops, sorry about that. So it's a little, it's a few things. So it's an action plan. First of all, it's going to keep you focused on things that are within your control that are going to help your mental state, your mindset, if you will. There are action items to engage you with your partner. To develop your relationship during that 2-week wait. And there are coping strategies that you put in place ahead of time so that you're proactive instead of reactive. So it comes with also with a book list. And I love books. If you don't know me, I love books and I love words. So I love the alliteration of Triumph While Waiting, or the— I forget what that's called. I love words, but I forget what that's called. It's okay. The TWW, Triumph While Waiting, and the alliteration of Triumph While Waiting. So we're going to be proactive in our 2-week wait. We're going to have things in place so that we're not reacting to our emotions. There's some, not necessarily meal plans, but maybe meal suggestions, meal prep suggestions to make micro changes to your diet and your schedule for the better. So there's just little tiny things mentally, physically, and emotionally, relationship-wise that you can implement during this 2-week wait. And it's not even a matter of being distracted because we don't, I don't like to waste time. I like to be productive. Have you met me? Hi, I'm Erica Hoke. I like to be productive. So it's going to, it's going to help you move the needle in your personal growth. Okay, so the books that I recommend are short enough to read during that 2-week period, and they're personal growth books that I just really love for helping to increase your emotional intelligence, your emotional IQ, And, um, all that is going to help you on this infertility journey. So I will put the link to the printout in the comments. I don't have it to show you, but if you're going to grab it, just let me know in the comments. Let me know if you have some coping strategies during the 2-week wait also, um, that I might not have thought about or that would help other people. That would be so great if we can kind of share those strategies. Other than all the things that we want to do, like, you know, eating a lot of ice cream or maybe drinking a lot of wine? Um, what are your, what are your healthy coping strategies for the 2-week wait? Thanks for joining me. I will see you on Wednesday. Whoops, today's Wednesday. I'll see you Friday. Monday, Wednesday, Friday here at noon Eastern Standard Time. Health and blessings to you guys.
