It's been a little while, and if you're in my personal life, you know what's going on. Like so many people, we got, we got hit with the virus going around, but we're back in shipshape over here. And I wanted to come and talk to you this afternoon. This is going to be my regularly scheduled time at noon so that I can accommodate people everywhere. It seems like a better time than morning when people are still sleeping. So I hope that you'll start your lunch or end your lunch with me or catch up, um, as your day progresses. So hi, I miss you guys. And I was on my morning walk this morning and this topic of what to do in the meantime when you've been put on hold or you're getting married and you know that you want to start a family right away. What are some things that you can do in the waiting, in the meantime? So, you know, if you're waiting to start a family until you get married, there are some things to optimize your fertility, you know, in that time period so that when you're ready to, to get pregnant, that your, your body is the healthiest that it can be. If you have been to a doctor and you've kind of been put off, those of you that are already suffering from infertility or have taken this step know that if you've been trying and it's been 3 months or 4 months or however months it's been, less than 6 months, um, if you're under 35 or, uh, I'm sorry, if you're over 35, 6 months. But if you're under 35, then they ask you to wait a year. And that's a really long time, you guys. Um, you know, I've got this, um, Infertility Success collaboration coming out with 19 other women sharing their stories. And I don't think that there's a single one in there that wishes that they couldn't go back and kind of have a do-over during that, that, um, on-hold period that the doctors urge you to just wait and see and try and that sort of thing. But we're here today because we are going to be talking about just briefly, um, a few of the things that we can do as women during that waiting period, whether you're waiting to get married whether you're waiting because the doctor has put you on hold, um, temporarily to see if things change, or if you just have an inkling, maybe you don't have insurance, um, and you don't have money to go to the doctor to get a diagnosis. What are some things that you can do in the meantime? So one of the easiest and the most important things that you can do is track your cycle. Um, track not only the length and duration of your period, but your symptoms, track your ovulation. So that's number one. Let's get in touch with what's going on with our body. Um, let's get some history because that is going to be so valuable when you go and talk to your doctor. They're going to want that. And it's also going to be a really good snapshot of your overall, um, overall reproductive health too, right? So, um, I know that some of you are not having cycles, so that's a whole separate issue. So any of these topics that I'm just glossing over here, we really dig deep into them into Empowered Infertility, or I'm sorry, Infertility Empowered, my group over on Facebook where I do trainings on Friday afternoon and we're just gonna dig deep on topics like this and help you understand how to track your cycle in this case. So number 2, get really curious about how you're feeling. Try to notice everything that's going on with your body, um, and don't dismiss things like fatigue or hair loss, weight gain, um, any of those symptoms, even things like constipation, um, are going to be important for you to just get in touch with your body, start noticing how you're feeling, don't dismiss your feelings, and either keep a journal or something like that so that you can kind of see what's going on. Kind of just start being really curious. So another thing that you can do is if you're feeling off and you're feeling unwell, if you have a history of physicals, um, if you have a history of blood work and things like that, I would recommend that you get a copy yourself and take a look at things like— I'm going to use this as an example because this is probably the best um, example that I have, um, is your thyroid. When I got diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and infertility, I went back to when my levels were normal, so when I was feeling good before my thyroid got sick. Um, and that's how I came to the conclusion with my doctor of kind of where my thyroid needed to be, where I was not going to be symptomatic anymore. So doing that kind of investigative investigation on your history of your own blood work can be super, super helpful for your doctor. And no, they're not going to do that, just so you know. They're not going to go back, they're not going to look at any kind of history of when you were like, say you went to the physi— went and had a physical 5 years ago and you were feeling really great and now your thyroid is out of whack. They're not going to go back and look. That's a really good starting point for you to do. Okay, again, we're gonna dive deep in this, this Friday in my group. So supplements are always something that you can do to support your body, again, based on your symptoms, but there's also some really great supplements out there that you can support your reproductive health with. I'm not gonna go into it here 'cause it's a lot and not everybody watching wants to know, but these are the kind of things that I talk about in my group. So I hope that you'll join me over there. You know, 1 out of 6 women are suffering from infertility. And so if you are watching this and you're not one of them, you probably know 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 people that have issues like this. So pass along my information. I sure would appreciate it. And if you're watching on YouTube, go ahead and if you like this content, Hit like and subscribe, and I will see you next time. Health and blessings to you guys. Bye-bye!
